The Tomboi harness is a perfect product to turn to if you're looking for a great harness for pack and play, or to wear under clothing from time to time. It's comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time and is most useful for the fact that you can pop a dildo in and play easily and quickly when and where you want. No O-rings are needed to hold a dildo in, and no straps or buckles stand in the way between you and your partner's fun. Whether you're looking for comfort during strap on play, or a comfortable harness to hold in your packer while you're out and about, Tomboi delivers comfort and a discreet look that bulkier harnesses may rule out.

The material of the harness is mixture of Nylon and Spandex. The percentage of Nylon is 77%, and Spandex 23%. The bit of spandex included gives the waist and overall product a bit of stretch and give. It's incredibly smooth to the touch and feels nice against skin during use. The material choice for this harness also makes it waterproof and vegan friendly. It's hard to find a harness that is waterproof! The material almost feels like bathing suit material and makes this a great harness for shower play.

The overall cut of this harness is a brief style, which is modeled to look like a normal pair of briefs that just so happens to function as a harness. This style is perfect if you'd like a more discreet looking harness for wear under your clothing or for packing.

Inside, you'll find pockets for a bullet or a mini vibe if you choose to use one or both during use. The two pockets can also be used for storing other things, such as condoms or extra cash. I find this pocket to be one of the most useful features of the harness, as well as comfortable, as it keeps the dildo base from rubbing against your skin during use. You can move the pocket to the side, if you wish, if you would like the base of the dildo to touch your skin. Also, because of the style of this harness, you can easily use a dildo with balls and they'll hang free from the O-ring during use. This is amazing for oral sex use and if you prefer a dildo with balls, which can be hard to use with other harnesses with snap in O-rings.

You won't need to use any extra O-rings with this harness, as the built-in O-ring can accommodate even the largest based toys. It's recommend that you use toys with a base less than 3" in diameter, but I've been able to fit some of my larger toys in, no problem. The ring can hold pretty heavy toys, too, without them sliding out or popping out due to the weight.

The waist band is extremely well made and if you have a bit of a tummy, it will flatten it just a bit due to the fact that it's snug and is well fitted. Around the shiny waist band is lettering that spells out "Spareparts" in black letters against the black background. It's very subtle and may not be noticeable at first glance, but is a nice touch to the band. Vertically written on the band is lettering that spells out "TomBoi" in light blue lettering, each bit of the word separated by the two sides of the harness.




Overall, this harness is really discreet and easy to fold and travel with, or store at home. You could even keep it in an underwear drawer and someone looking through wouldn't see the difference in this or another pair of briefs.

I googled the size chart and found it be fairly accurate, though I do feel Spareparts made this line a little small. I ordered a size L for my partner, and her measurements fit the M pretty well. I ordered a L to be on the safe side, and when it arrived, it was really tight on her. Her waist is around 34" and the sizing chart says that the L should even be big on her. She didn't like that it made her have a muffin top and squeezed her sides, but she didn't express any discomfort in it being so tight. For the harness to fit you in a flattering way, you should probably order a size up from what you normally wear, as this particular harness fits snuggly around the waist and legs. There aren't any adjustable features on it, so ordering up would probably be a good idea for anyone that is in between sizes or feels like they might not fit the smaller size.

The size chart is located on the side of the box, but is really minimal and isn't the size chart above. There is also an O-ring size chart located underneath it.

This harness gets the job done and is comfortable to wear during use. The band hugs just enough around the waist so that it doesn't dig into your skin, but keeps the harness up so that it doesn't slip and fall down after more than an hour of wear. I absolutely love that Spareparts made the O-ring so durable, as even the heaviest toys don't drop out of it or fall out continuously the way they do with our other harnesses. It's simple to put on and use, which is the best thing about this style of harness. You simply slip it on and you're ready to go. No matter how long you're using it, it doesn't make you sweat or feel constricted, as the fabric is really breathable and deters moisture really well.

As for dildos that fit well in the O-ring, I would personally try any of these:


Dildos that exceed 3" in diameter at the base might give you a little trouble, but I find that the O-ring hasn't given me much of a problem with my larger toys. The diameter of the O-ring is 2" and is pretty accommodating.

This product is both hand washable and machine washable, whichever you feel more comfortable with. The "tag" located inside the harness is a printed tag instead of an annoying hanging tag, and states that it's your choice on how to wash it, but to use gentle settings and no harsh soaps, bleach, or chemicals on the cloth. I'd suggest putting this in a pillow case or lingerie bag if you have any worries that it may bleed or snag on anything you wash it with. You should wash it with like colors and use low heat settings when washing and drying.

Avoid using anything but silicone or water based lubes with the material. Oil based lubes can really mess up fabric and leave stains or residue behind.

The packaging for this harness is really lovely and I love that it came in a black box with tissue paper covering the harness, which is neatly folded inside. It's really well packaged and presented, and it'd be great for a gift to a friend. It's also pretty awesome for storing your harness between uses. Inside the box is a pouch made of the same material as the harness that you can use to store the harness in, or your favorite dildo or plug that you like to use with the harness. It's secured by a zipper and has a pocket inside that can be used to store a dildo along with the harness.

The packaging does include a photo of the harness on the front and what it's used for, however, the band that shows this information has to be removed to access the lid to the box and therefore, underneath the packaging can be considered discreet.

I love that Spareparts named this harness the "Tomboi." It made me grin a little bit, as I'm almost positive it's a play on the definition above and is just really clever, as it's kind of the more masculine/butch alternative to the Sasha harness. Despite the sizing being a little bit off, I think it looks fantastic on my partner and we really love the way it performs. The color is a really sexy pop of deep red and the black band really sets it apart from other harnesses.




We also own the RodeoH harness and we love it, too. We purchased the Tomboi because it matches my Sasha harness and the colors are interesting. I'm happy to say that it's just as comfortable as our RodeoH, but is waterproof, and that's a big plus. I can't pick a favorite out of the two, as they compare closely in aesthetics and comfort during use. However, the Tomboi's sizing is XS-3X instead of by waist size and runs smaller than the RodeoH does. Our RodeoH is for size 29" hips and runs fairly accurately, but is made of a blend of cotton and spandex versus nylon and spandex. They both have a good bit of stretch despite the size differences. The Tomboi is made out of more material and has more coverage than the RodeoH. It also comes a little bit higher up on the waist, as the RodeoH is considered a "low rise brief panty."
