New comers strap-on kit - beginner harness and dildo set discontinued by Sportsheets - review by Ane

I'm a female in a LTR with a female, and we're new to toys in general, and have more experience with vibrators than anything. I've had this product for about two years. We both wanted to try strap on sex- my partner was new to penetration beyond digital penetration, while I have experience with male partners and am very familiar with it.

We decided to buy this because, being beginners, it seemed like a logical step into strap-on sex, and we also thought the small size would be more comfortable for my partner.

As always from EdenFantasys, it shipped discreetly which is wonderful. There's no way someone would be able to tell what you are receiving in the mail without opening it. I can't really remember the product packaging, but I know it came in a cardboard box that was attractively designed. Everything in the contents was true to size and color as advertised. No strong chemically smell from the dildo- It is such a turn off when there is so that is a plus!

Anybody who uses a strap on knows there is a trick to it. There's always a little trial and error with controlling it, unless you have the PERFECT harness. This harness is good for the price point, which means you have to practice with it to be able to control it well.

Now, about the dildo. I think it was designed with pegging in mind. We were uneducated about these things when ordering, and I don't think in my mind I had a clear picture of how small and thin it was. I should have, because it's described very accurately on the site, but yea. It was not as satisfying for me when we used it for vaginal penetration simply because I need something bigger. However, my partner enjoyed it. To each their own.

We didn't end up continuing to use it beyond the first few tries. It sadly has sat idle for two years. We both want to move on to something bigger, and we just ordered the Riley dildo and a leather harness, which we just wanted for our own aesthetic preferences. I'm sure the new comers harness could be used for a variety of dildos though.

Over all, I think this is a good set. In our case it doesn't match up with our own particular preferences, but for couples interested in pegging, or who simply want to stick with something smaller, I would recommend it. Especially for the price.
