Stylized look, realistic feel

Luke is a girthy realistic dual-density dildo with a firmer inner core and softer outer layer than similar toys in the category. The combination of densities enhances the realism of the toy, even though appearance-wise, Luke is restrained in detailing. When it comes down to it, the realistic feel does more for making the cock believable than any amount of detailed veins and wrinkles could. Luke performed admirably in a variety of uses and is a versatile addition to one's collection.

extremely useful review
The O2 Luke is a new realistic, dual-density dildo from Tantus. Slightly more girthy than previous Tantus O2 toys, Luke is 2" in diameter and is equipped with several realistic features. From a distance, one notices that Luke has a plausibly realistic size. Though a little thicker than your average human penis, Luke has a reasonable 5 3/4" insertable length. Also noticeable at a distance are Luke's nice set of balls, which are round, with a nice ridge of skin connecting them to the base of the shaft. One finally notices the round head, which has a slight ridge where it meets the shaft, and which is noticeably shinier than the rest of the toy.

A closer look provides the viewer with a much better idea of how realistic Tantus designed the Luke to be. Compared to the Vixen LoneStar which has highly-realistic detailing (including wrinkles on the balls and a myriad of veins on the shaft), Luke is slightly more stylized. Luke's balls are smooth and very round; they could be described as plump. The balls are made almost entirely of the softer O2 material, making them fun to squeeze. Moving up the shaft, one notices that the O2 material is not evenly distributed; the soft layer is thicker on the bottom of the shaft and thinner on the top. While the shaft is not as extensively detailed as the LoneStar, Luke does a better job of representing the asymmetrical feel of the real thing.

Opposite the realistic crest (corona) of the head is another nice ridge, in this case a slightly exaggerated frenulum. The frenulum is flanked on each side by foreskin that is higher on one side than the other, accentuating the realism of this part of the dildo, even without being super detailed. Continuing out examination, we've made it to the head, which is shinier and has a bit more drag than the shaft. The head is also much squishier than the rest of the toy. The most distal (toward the the tip) inch of the head is completely squish; you can compress it between your fingers to about half of its resting thickness.

Material
Luke features Tantus's O2 construction, where a firm inner silicone core is covered in an outer layer of much softer silicone. O2 maintains the hygienic and body-safe properties of silicone while providing the squishier, lifelike feel offered by some less-safe materials. Compared to previous versions of O2 (such as used in the O2 Rascal), the outer layer of Luke is even softer. However, compared to the previous generation of O2 toys, Luke is somewhat sticky feeling, and leaves a slight residue on your fingertips if you squeeze him excessively. This, however, is something I've noticed only when I'm extensively handling Luke or the VIP Supersoft (which has the same outer material), and is not something I've picked up on during typical use.

Care and Cleaning
Luke is a silicone toy, so the usual silicone rules apply. Avoid silicone lubes, especially since the softer silicone of the O2 material is more vulnerable to reactions with the ingredients of silicone lubes. Water and oil-based lubes are compatible with the material. Since the material is non-porous it can be cleaned by several methods. You can dip Luke in a 10% bleach solution, boil him for 5 minutes on the stove, or place him in the dishwasher (without detergent). In the event you would like to share the toy, consider using a condom. I would advise using non-lubricated condoms since some lubricated condoms are coated with a silicone-based formulation, which could damage the O2 layer. Some information on condom lubricants can be found here.

For storage, I keep Luke upright in my toy cabinet; Luke's flat base helps him stand up well. Luke could also be stored in the packaging provided by Tantus. I would recommend against throwing the toy in a drawer, as the soft material could retain marks from objects that are pressing into it.

Packaging
Luke comes in Tantus’s clear plastic box packaging. The clear plastic shows the toy inside; if you’re gifting the toy, wrapping it will be necessary if you wish to maintain the element of surprise. The print on the packaging provides plenty of information about Tantus and their dedication to quality and safe materials; however for useage and cleaning instructions, the print directs you to the Tantus website. The packaging is sufficiently sturdy to store Luke if he's only used on occasion, and needs to be kept safe and dust-free between uses.

Comparisons
I've compared Luke to my LoneStar, as the two are in a similar size range. For an excellent comparison of these two toys, with illustrative photos, take a look at Lucky21's review of Luke.
Experience
Oral Play
Luke is pleasantly tasteless. The smooth head slips nicely in one's mouth, with just enough texture past the head to make things interesting. Luke is quite large however, and most users would have a hard time getting more than a few inches down the shaft. The girth of Luke makes it difficult to get Luke anywhere past my uvula, whereas deepthroating is easier with less girthy toys.

Anal Play
Though one must warm up to take a toy this big around, it is quite worth it. The subtle texturing on the shaft make thrusting fun, and does not wear your ass out like some very textured toys can. Once you work your way down to Luke's base, it is quite fun just to leave the toy in place and enjoy the full feeling. Also, the O2 material is thicker near the base, so it is fun to squeeze the base with your anal muscles. Because the balls are nice and round, you can enjoy grinding against them, with more sensation than is realized with flatter, more realistic scrotal designs.

Compared to other realistic dual-density toys in this general size range, such as the LoneStar or Happy Valley Lucky, Luke is more rigid. This is nice because with a bit more stiffness, applying pressure to specific spots is easier. I can get very good prostate stimulation when I'm grinding on Luke. Less rigid toys just deflect to the paths of least resistance, usually providing less ability to focus on the prostate. When I am riding Luke with the balls facing forward, the exaggerated frenulum hits my prostate perfectly. Though the ridge of the head can be a problem with some toys, Luke's corona is soft and rounded enough that it doesn't present any issues.

Harness Play
To cover my bases, I went ahead and stuck Luke in my favorite harness (the SpareParts Joque) to see how he'd hang. Getting Luke through the O-ring was actually less difficult than I expected, which may have been due to the relatively rigid construction of the toy (for a dual-density realistic). Once in, the toy performed well, maintaining its soft but stiff demeanor. There's no flopping around, and no drooping along the length of the shaft. However, since Luke is a straight toy with no upward curve, he will point down slightly in a harness, due to the curve of the wearer's body. While I prefer the appearance of an eager, upwardly-inclined cock, there was no impact on performance as there is still enough bend in the toy to achieve most positions comfortably. From the wearer's perspective, Luke looks realistic and believable, and it's easy to get in the mindset that it is part of you. You will eventually have to come to terms with Luke being separable, however, when it's time to get dressed; Luke is definitely not a packing cock and does not take kindly to being shoved into a pair of even moderately baggy pants.
