Wickedly Ringed

This is not really the type of toy that I typically go for because I don't normally gravitate towards anything even remotely "realistic." However, when Eden contacted me to review it, I decided to give it a shot because the strange rings around the toy gave it a bit of a less threatening feel to me.

The soft feel of the dildo makes it ideal for anyone who likes a bit of give to their toy. With a diameter of 1.5" I found it to be easy to take and not the type of toy I needed a lot of warm up for.

Unfortunately, while the Wicked Ringer boasts a suction cup base, I didn't find that the suction was very good at all. It will stick to a slick surface (such as a table or shower tile) for only about three seconds before dropping off, and that's without actually trying to use the toy for any play.

The Wicked Ringer does have two realistic balls which act as a stopper if you choose to use this for anal play. I tried to use this in a harness but I found it to be a bit on the bulky side between the suction cup base and the balls, however.

The best use I found for my Wicked Ringer was solo or couples play (outside of a harness situation). It works great as a stand-alone toy and I enjoyed it a lot.

While the Wicked Ringer boasts no phthalates, it does have a bit of a smell to it. I'm not entirely sure how to describe the smell of it, except to say that it is very much a "factory" type of smell. It is not overwhelming, and I don't notice it unless the toy is right near my face, but it is definitely there. Washing the toy does lessen the smell somewhat (it was stronger when I first got it) but despite several washes now, I can still detect an odor.

The toy is made out of PVC, which is not as safe as glass or silicone, so when I use it (even solo) I always put a condom over it. The toy does give when you press into it, but it's not "squishy" or soft.

I am very picky when it comes to textures. I don't always like a lot of textures so I wasn't sure if I would like the feel of the rings on the Wicked Ringer. These particular rings are very subtle and smooth though, and I found them to be very pleasurable. They didn't feel irritating like some textured dildos can feel. It was quite a pleasant surprise!

As a stand alone dildo I like this toy a lot. The toy does have some really soft textures all around it, which I found I really did enjoy. The sensations were really smooth and didn't leave me feeling "rough" like many other textured toys can (which is something I do not enjoy and which is a huge deterrent to me when looking at toys like this).

The Wicked Ringer Realistic Dildo is 7.5" long and 1.5" in diameter which is a size I enjoy using when working up to bigger toys. It would definitely be a great one for any user who prefers an average size toy and doesn't want anything too big or intimidating.

Traveling with this would be pretty easy if you packed this in your checked luggage because there is nothing mechanical about it. However, the toy itself is not discreet looking, so I would only bring this on trips in which I wasn't too worried about my traveling companions knowing what I brought.. Unless I had separate travelling quarters.

I like to use the suction cup base and the balls as a way to grip the toy for play, and was a bit disappointed in the fact that the suction cup base doesn't work as intended. I found that the cup itself is just too shallow, and that doesn't lend itself well to gripping any slick surface which is kind of a bummer.

I really wanted this toy to work out well in a harness too, but the combination of the balls and the suction cup base made this way too bulky to be comfortable to me when I wore a harness with this toy strapped into it. While the specs boast harness compatibility, I suggest choosing another toy for your pegging or harness needs.

This toy is made of PVC, which is not the safest material around, so I prefer to use a condom over it when I am using it even just solo. Wash with a mild soap or toy cleaner, and let this one air dry before storing. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with any kind of storage other than the giant box that it comes with so if you don't want to store it in there you could wrap it in an old pillow case or other cloth material to keep in a drawer for discretion purposes.

I do find that the surface of the toy does lend itself to picking up lint and dust so you do need to be very careful where you place this one before and after washing, and you may want to think twice about buying this particular toy if you have pets.

The Wicked Ringed Realistic Dildo came in a pretty simple albeit large box. The box itself contains a plastic tray that you can put your dildo in to keep it free from lint and hair in between uses. My big issue with the box is that it is twice the size of the dildo so it really takes up quite a bit of room. I recycled my box, but you could keep it if you're not too worried about discretion.

The reason why I mention discretion is that the box has a window on the front where you can see the dildo. If you are living with room mates or family members, you'll probably want to open your package in a private room. While there is a window where you can see your toy, and there is also a giant picture of the dildo on the back of the box, I will say that there are no nude models or actual pictures of genitals. So, that's something.

The box gives little information about the toy itself but does state that the dildo is PVC and contains no phthalates.
