A dong that's a bit wrong.

The Basix Dong with Suction Cup is a very realistic rubber dildo. It can be used for solo masturbation to thrust in and out manually with your hands OR it can be locked onto a surface (such as a bathtub or shower ledge) so you can ride it.

It can also be put into a nice, secure harness for vaginal or anal sex with your partner.

The dong is flared, making it suitable for anal. However, due to the material being porous, be sure to put a condom on it to be safe and use a lot of water-based lubricant.

Also, be sure to sterilize this toy after each use or if you plan on sharing with your partner.

The dong has quite a large girth; therefore, it may not be perfect for beginners. Instead, this dong would probably be better suited for those who are a bit more experienced or who don't mind a larger girth. I'd advise women who are more shallow or tighter (as was the case for me) that they probably should not try this one.

This Basix Dong is made of rubber, which is not my favorite material for a toy, BUT I was willing to test it out despite that.

Upon opening the package of this toy, I was overwhelmed with a strong, nauseating factory/chemical smell. I can't even describe it. Also, the toy was a bit slick, and you could feel a type of icky feeling on your hands after holding it.

I have to admit this was a bit of a turnoff, and I kind of got weary about using it at all.

However, later I decided to give it a shot and washed it a few times, both with antibacterial soap and hot water and with my trusted toy cleaner. But it was to no avail; the smell still remained but was more bearable at this point.

And yes, the toy does have a very disgusting taste. I'd advise against tasting it.

Now, on to a few other things. This toy is very realistic. The look and the feel are very true to a real penis. It has a nice, sculpted head and veins that run up from the balls and all along the shaft.

This dong, in the only way I can describe it, is a tad flimsy but mostly firm.

This toy would probably be for a more advanced user.

The design of this toy was well done. It was very realistic down to the head and veining through the shaft, as stated above. Those added touches made each thrust seem true to a real penis and had a lot more stimulation than a regular dong would have. The balls were okay too and did, in fact, feel nice when they hit my clit during thrusting.

This toy is on the larger size, both in girth and in length. It's 7" in length and has an insertable length of 5". Its girth is 2".

So, it's definitely a toy for your average user who wants to try a larger toy or for a more advanced user who prefers a larger size. But it is most definitely not for a beginner.

Because of its size, this toy is most definitely not discreet! I'd probably not use it for travel unless you really have to.

So, on to the pros and cons.

One good thing about this toy is that it's pretty realistic. It has nice detail (head, veining), giving it a truer feel during solo and partner play.

It also has a suction cup, which gives you a bit more options for using it during solo (such as riding it).

And it ALSO has a flared base, making it safe for anal with a few added precautions.

The suction cup is harness compatible, so that is a plus as well.

However, it also has a few flaws as well, the greatest flaw being the smell that seems to never go away even after washing and play!

Also, its size (both length and girth) is very intimidating and only makes it a suitable toy for more average/advanced users and not for beginners. The size also can make it uncomfortable for anyone with a shallow vagina or for those on the tighter side.

The Basix dong is a made of rubber and requires a bit more care than other toys.

Sex toys that are made of rubber are porous and can trap dirt and bacteria.

I'd recommend using a condom on it to ensure more safety and to also make cleaning less of a hassle.

You can clean this dildo with a gentle antibacterial soap and water. However, if you are going to use antibacterial soap, make sure all the soap is completely gone from it to prevent any damage to the toy or irritation to you.

And if you're not a soap and water type of person, there are numerous sex toy cleaners on the market that work well with rubber. I myself use Pjur Med Clean and it works fantastically.

After you're done cleaning, make sure to let it air dry or wipe it down with a soft cloth before you store it.

Another thing to add is to be sure to use a water-based lube as a silicone-based one can melt the toy!
