Glass toys are great for someone that wants to experience dildos in a whole new way. They are rigid, can be cooled down or warmed up, and are easy to clean. Some boast wild shapes and others are very basic. The Nubby G Wand is a great beginner offering that will give you the lovely stimulation of the little nubs as well as the option of the rounder end for a variation on your sensation.

This toy gets its name from the little raised nubs covering the shaft. In the case of this particular wand, the nubs are a very light pink. They can easily be felt when penetrating or thrusting, but they aren't so prominent as to be uncomfortable. I recommend the nubs for anyone that wants to experience a bit of texture on their toy but may be sensitive to intense bumps and ridges.

Nubby G Wand is a pyrex glass toy. It won't shatter into a million pieces if you drop it, but instead will break into larger chunks. If you do happen to ever drop a glass toy, then please carefully inspect it if it doesn't break. Glass has no give which is a wonderful sensation for me, but if you prefer more squish in your toys, you may want to stay away. Be careful with penetration as you can bruise the inside of your vagina if you are not careful.

Another attraction to glass is temperature play. You can warm up the Nubby G Wand in water, or cool it off in the fridge. Please avoid subjecting this and all glass toys to sudden and extreme temperature changes! They can resist a lot, but going from very hot to very cold can cause it to break.

Nubby has a tapered head leading into a very subtle g-spot curve. The shaft is covered in noticeable, but not extreme, bumps. A rounded end makes it easier to hang onto when thrusting. This end also has a pretty flower design in the glass! It provides no additional benefit, but it's nice to look at and might bring a smile to your face during partner play.

For me the g-spot curve was a bit too subtle. The toy really didn't hit mine, and I found this rather disappointing considering the name. Others may not have this problem as such things can be very anatomy specific.

This is one of the smallest glass toys I own. Because of this, Nubby's a bit more of a teaser than a pleaser for me. If Topsy Turvy and Reflections Amber are a bit big for you, then this may be the right size.

Nubby feels great but really doesn't pack the punch for me. I have other glass toys that either have more pronounced textures that I love or better for my body shapes. I could be fine with the nubs being underwhelming if the g-spot curve was actually there. It's far too subtle. This isn't to say that this toy is bad. I believe it would be great for a starter glass piece or for someone that wanted a teaser toy.

Glass is super easy to take care of! Wash it with warm water and soap, boil it, or put it in the top rack of your dish washer (without soap). You can use it with any lube too! The big issue is storing them. You want to make sure they aren't going to bang up against anything and potentially break. Having a padded storage bag for them is advisable. Barring that, keeping them wrapped in towels or stuffing them in your sock drawer will also work.

Nubby G Wand came wrapped in bubble wrap and put inside a red velveteen draw string pouch. There were no instructions. The pouch is nice looking and can be pretty discreet. It's not padded, but it's better than not having a pouch at all. It's suitable for storage but won't protect the toy against most impact.

Nubby G Wand is fun to play with, but I find myself reaching for other things first. I like it, but I don't love it. Still, this is a nice addition to my glass toy collection.
