Glass sex toys are amazingly versatile. They can be found in a wide range of prices, colors, shapes, dimensions and textures. They are one of the easiest toys to clean. It's non-porous so soap and hot water works great most of the time. It can be sterilized by boiling briefly (or run through the dishwasher if your kids don't unload it!).

Pyrex glass is what is known as "hard glass". This means that it doesn't break easily, and if it does it doesn't shatter. Based on a recent forum post on glass toys, I'm the only one that's ever had one break.

Glass is designed to be heated up, and hold heat well. The best way to do this is soaking in warm water for 20-30 minutes. They can be easily chilled, but are not designed to be frozen. Although I haven't seen this often, one source indicated that rapid changes in temperature may cause fractures. Always test the temperature before use on delicate skin!

This "G-spot twister" (hereafter called "Blue Twist") is my fifth glass toy. I currently have two that I'm extremely pleased with. The Crystal cut pink double dong and the Gold double headed G-spot. (Where do they get these names?) I didn't really need another glass toy, but Beautiful Dreamer wrote a review that really got me curious. This toy is different from my favorites in two ways. It's long and slender with a slight curve, and has a completely different type of texture.

She was somewhat disappointed with the coloring in her product. I'm not sure if she had the pink or blue version, but I had the blue one and loved how it looked. The blue ribbons of color were bright, and seemed to twist throughout the piece itself no matter how I held it in my hand.

The "Blue twist" is much more slender than the toys that I usually prefer. However, it has a unique twist that runs down the surface of the toy. I felt this might provide the clitoral stimulation that I like to accompany glass toys. Nope. The twists were really just not pronounced enough to really provide surface stimulation. Like Beautiful Dreamer, I did not find this satisfactory for stimulating my g-spot.

Unlike most glass toys this has a flat base, and would actually be compatible with some harnesses. I can see this as an interesting glass toy to try with a harness. Glass is not my preferred material for anal play, and the base is small. If used for anal activities use discretion and be aware of your own body.

A playtime night when my husband was away. I pulled this out and my first thought was that it is shaped like his cock. With random thoughts flitting in and out of my mind, I tried to see where this toy might take me. I love the feel of it. It's long enough to hold easily in my hand, but it's not a personal match for me. I think this is an excellent quality toy, just not my personal favorite.
