Dai-Do #4 - steel dildo discontinued by Big Teaze Toys - review by Faydreh

Arrival and Initial Impression
After hastily getting through the usual discrete exterior packaging that every item from Eden Fantasys comes in, I was able to feast my eyes upon a sleek black cardboard box. The actual box that the Dai-Do 4 is concealed in is not, in any way, shape, or form, subtle. There are two pictures of the toy contained within, on the exterior, as well as the Big Teaze Toys logo and text highlighting some of the features of the shiny dildo inside. Nestled in a black velvet-y flocked piece of formed plastic was my candy apple red (Red Devotion if you want to use their name for the color) toy. It came with a satiny drawstring enclosure black bag that fits it perfectly. I personally find the box it arrived in to be a bit more bulky than is preferable for my tastes. I'm quite content to store it in the satchel/bag that was included. If wrapped up in the original box, it would make a lovely (though completely indiscreet) gift.

Upon first touching the gorgeous Dai-Do all I could think was "Holy crud it's so cold!" Not particularly inspiring, I know. The thoughts after that though were more along the lines of wondering how the pronounced, yet softly rounded bumps and ridges would feel ... and also just how incredibly pretty this toy is. I curled up in bed with it, underneath the blankets to see how well indirect heat would warm him up. It took a pretty long time, all things considered. I wanted to try it though, just in case someone was playing with a partner and didn't want to have to worry about going and running it under warm water or something. If you're just flying solo, I would recommend going the fast route and just popping this shiny pretty under your facet for a bit. If you're interested in the cooler spectrum of sensations, even kept at room temperature, the Dai-Do will most likely be chilly enough for you.

Use and Care
Once my lovely new toy was all warmed up, I used just a dab of water based lube to make things a wee bit more comfy and away we went. I've had mixed opinions thus far about textured things penetrating my vagina. Sometimes I can hardly feel them, other times I can feel them, but they don't do anything for me. This is the first dildo that has really rubbed me in all the right ways. The bumps aren't too big or too small, they're just right. The silicone band that encircles the handle side of the Dai-Do 4 is really a brilliant idea. It's definitely much easier to grasp and manipulate the toy because of it. The insertion capable ridged portion measures just over 3.5" for me. This was measuring from the bottom side of the last bump, which differs from the 4 1/4" listed. While I do imagine I would really enjoy the soft ridged surface anally, since there is no flare/base of any sort, I have refrained and would recommend that you do so as well. I found that because of the short insertion length with such a rounded tip, I didn't personally have to worry about giving myself any sort of internal bruising from thrusting too hard. For some of you who are shallower internally I would be a bit more cautious, just like with any toy that doesn't have any give at all (wood, metal, glass).

For cleaning this gorgeous aluminum toy, I use warm water and hand soap, dry it thoroughly, and then use a spray on toy cleaner. When storing my Dai-Do, he stays in the satiny bag he arrived in. Most of my toys are all individually contained in fabric satchels of some sort, since not all the materials play nicely with each other. This also protects them from bumps, dings, scratches, etc.

The only reason why I'm saying I don't like this toy anymore, is because my personal tastes/physique are changing. Because of some health things going on, I'm having a very difficult time enjoying anything penetrating vaginally. Especially a toy that is so firm, as the oh-so-beautiful Dai-Do #4. It still has delicious ridges, is neat for temperature play, it's just that I've changed.
