The Sweet Candy Cane from SSA glass has got to be one of the most discreet toys out there. It's gorgeous as a holiday decoration and no one would even know it was sold as a sex toy if you left yours out, doubled it as a decoration, or gave it as a gift claiming it was one. There are plenty of toys that are discreet, but most of them are not discreet because they double as another object. Because this doubles as a holiday decoration/novelty, the functionality is limited by its design. I recommend it for anyone who doesn't mind the rigidity of glass, likes the potential for warm or cold temperatures, and doesn't need a huge amount of girth. This cane can be used anally or vaginally.

The Sweet Candy Cane is made of a lovely Pyrex Glass. Pyrex glass is tempered for more resistance to temperatures and to shattering. It retains both hot and cold temperatures extremely well so you can manipulate the fell of the toy. Glass is one of the safest materials for the body and one of the most dangerous as well. It is safe because it is completely non-porous and won't harbor bacteria if you clean it properly. It won't cause an allergic reaction either. However, it is possible for the glass to harm you because it is very hard-obviously. If you don't go easy with thrusting, you could bruise your insides. Watch out for the pubic bone and cervix! Also make sure to check for chips and cracks. If any occur, do not use the toy under any circumstances! The durability of the glass has been compromised.

This cane has two colors-the clear and red. The red was added to the form after. This means that is can be felt as slightly raised. I did not feel it internally however.

The design is modeled as a candy cane! How cute is that? It's a moderate length and thickness, but because of the cane's curve, it takes up a bit more space. The curve makes as excellent handle! It is about 7 1/2" long and just over 3" in circumference (1" in diameter). Because it is so smooth and the part that goes in you is so straight, this toy's design is rather boring. It is for me at least.

There is a lot of weight to this toy, since obviously, it is glass. Some folks might find this annoying on their wrist. Thrusting is easy though since it is smooth and straight. The curved portion of the cane serves as an excellent handle for vaginal or anal use, on a partner or yourself.

Because it is a candy cane and has no additional markings on it at all, it is incredibly discreet, especially at the time of the holiday season! Left out, it looks like a beautiful piece of glass artwork, and...that really is what it is.

I really like glass because of the cool feeling it provides just by sitting at room temperature. Its this really pleasurable shock. The glass slides in, even without lube, so easily. Lubricant makes this even easier. Since glass does not absorb lubricant like a sponge, you can use just a tiny bit and it will last quite a while. The insertable portion of this toy's length sort of varies from person to person. Because every body is different, the curve may prevent further insertion more for some than others. I was able to insert the toy a good 4" but didn't want to go further than that. It can hit the pubic bone or cervix if you are not careful. It didn't fill me or provide enough stimulation to provide an orgasm.

I actually preferred to use this toy anally. Vaginally, it was kind of a bore after the glass absorbed my body heat. Anally, the smooth and straight glass felt great and the thickness was non intimidating. I didn't need warm up to use this toy.

Glass is super easy to take care of and even with anal, clean up is a breeze. The glass can be washed with hot water and soap or can be boiled for sterilization. You can boil it for 5-10 minutes for this effect. It can also be put in the dishwasher on the top shelf. Any kind of lubricant cane be used. Make sure to store in a padded case just in case an accident were to occur. And if one does, always check for cracks etc. before play.

The Sweet Candy Cane comes in a thin, red velvet sack. It is not padded, but the toy does come wrapped up in some bubble wrap. Without the bubble wrap, the pouch doesn't do much for keeping the toy safe. It has a draw string at the end and if the toy is not tied inside it could slide out.
