This toy is great for someone who appreciates the diversity of uses that a glass toy can provide. It can be used vaginally, anally, or even for massage due to its heaviness. The Ruling Wand could be suited for someone who has begun playing around with glass and is looking for something a bit more stimulating or intense, or for someone who is more experienced with glass and wants something simple and pretty with a nice ribbed texture. The best thing about the Ruling Wand? Undoubtedly the fact that it is double ended. Two times the fun!

You may want to be careful with this toy, because the texture could be a bit intense for some, and if used too aggressively, it could bruise your cervix.

The most wonderful thing about a glass toy is its lack of smell and taste - the Ruling Wand is no different in this department. It has no smell and no taste, but does have a silky smooth softness to the outside of it and a heavy, weighted feeling that is absolutely wonderful. This toy is not realistic in the sense that it does not resemble flesh and does not have a skin-like feeling like silicone might replicate. However, the stimulation that glass can provide I find is sometimes much better and more intense.

I really enjoyed the design of the Ruling Wand. The clear glass and classic straight up and down design of this dildo is very beautiful and eye catching. I really enjoyed the thickness of the ribbing and the balls at either end, and the thinner shaft in the middle is nice too, especially for gripping - although I would not argue with it being a bit thicker. The shaft measures around 2 1/2 inches, but I think one of the greatest things about the thinner shaft is that it may not scare of beginners who are interested in trying out glass.

The toy is 7 1/2" in length, so it is pretty average sized, and not too big. It could be used for travel if you wanted, but it is not the most discreet or tiny toy, and with a weight of 1 lb, you might find you prefer to just use this one at home.

One of the very best things about the Ruling Wand is how incredibly multi-purpose it is! It can be used for anal play, it can be used vaginally, it can be used for sensual massages.. additionally, it is non-porous, latex free, is hypoallergenic, and is compatible with water based, silicone, and oil based lubricants. Not only that, it can be heated and cooled for temperature play, and it will naturally warm up to your body temperature if you use it without changing the temperature. One end can be used for a lighter, different kind of stimulation, and one can be used for a more intense, rippling and filling sensation. Sounds pretty great, huh? Well, it definitely is.

The one thing I could see people changing or disliking about this is it's lack of natural curves that some people enjoy and some dildos have, its thinner shaft, and its shorter length. Overall, though, what this toy may be lacking can be made up for with a multitude of the other uses this toy can perform.

Because this toy is glass and non-porous, it is very easy to clean. Just wash it off with a little soap and water or sex toy cleaner after you use it, and slip a condom on it if you are planning on using it both anally and vaginally, or if you are planning on sharing it. The Ruling Wand is compatible with silicone, water, and oil based lubes. This makes it very versatile!

The packaging on this toy is very sleek and modern looking. The box is tall and gray, and the writing is simple in the colors blue and pink. On the front is a clear plastic "window" in the box in the shape of the Ruling Wand so that you can see the toy through the front of the box. On one side is a full size photograph of the wand. On the back is a section titled "Glass Product Features" with information on the use of glass toys, for example, the fact that it warms to body temperature and some ways to cool or warm it. There is also a section titled "Glass Product Care Instructions" with an Option A, Option B, and Option C. The box notes that this toy is also dishwasher safe!

While the packaging is quite nice, tasteful and pretty, it's unlikely you'll want to re-use it for storage or as a gift box. Depends on what you're gifting and to who, I suppose!

My partner and I really enjoyed using this toy together during sex. We had a lot of fun with the temperature play. I already love glass toys, but this one was a great addition. The simplicity of the design is very eye catching and pretty, and the ribbing brought the sensation to a different level.
