I Can't Decide which Side I Like More!

I snatched up the Bumpy Spiral Double Dong at the super discounted sale price. In the past, glass and texture have not always agreed with me, but I was willing to try this gorgeous looking one for less. I am very glad I did because I absolutely love this double dong and can't decide which side I like better! I love them both. While this is a double sided glass toy, with dual texture, it isn't really long enough to be used by two partners at once. Its best and safest use is for vaginal penetration, clitoral rubbing, or temperature play. For those who are sensitive to texture, this glass toy doesn't have very pronounced features so it is soothing instead of painful. I would even recommend it to beginners. It comes with a storage pouch, but lacks any company or product information.

The Bumpy Spiral is made of Pyrex glass (borosilicate glass) according to Eden's product page. the body of the toy is clear while the texture is a gorgeous and deep blood red. Pyrex glass contains a property called boron. Boron makes the glass more resilient and strong if it dropped, or exposed to extreme temperature changes. It also makes the glass less dense. So if it were to break, it would break into large piece instead of shattering into hundreds.

Glass is an extremely safe material. It is free of any harmful chemicals and is safe for those with allergies. It's also completely non-porous, so it is cleaned properly, it won't harbor problem causing bacteria and can be safely shared between partners. Glass is also eco-friendly, and safe with all lubricants. Not much is needed either, since the glass is smooth. The texture is slightly raised, but doesn't cause a large problem for cleaning. It has no smell or taste.

This double dildo is a little petite. It's shy of 8". being 7 3/4" in total length. The length is long enough that you can easily penetrate yourself and have enough length to still hold onto. The double end design is great. Each end is about 4" long, but they can be inserted further than that. The maximum penetration length is around 6" for either side.

Both ends are the same. They are about 1 5/8" long and acorn/spade shaped. They have rounded points for easy insertion and have a 4 1/2" circumference which is about 1 1/2" in diameter. I consider this to be a very comfortable size for a glass toy. The larger end helps with g-spot stimulation despite its moderate size. The average thickness of the main part of the shaft is about 3 1/2" in circumference. There is a slight even curve, but it is nothing drastic. It does not pose a problem for my pubic bone.

One of the ends is swirled. The swirls are only raised a little more than 2 mm above the surface. They start right below the head and swirl down with 3/8" of space in between each one. There are four rows in total. The other end has raised nubs. The nubs are nubs very in size and raised amount, but they max at about 3 mm. There are a few dozen of them. There are also some flaws. There are a few pointy nubs, but its hardly noticeable.

The toy is rather pretty! It isn't discreet, though. This can be stored just about anywhere, but it needs to be protected. If you don't mind people seeing your toys, this one would be a good one to display.

I have had more issues with nubbed texture than swirls so I decided to try that first. I made sure to use plenty of lube, probably more than is necessary. Inserting the head of the dildo was easy and didn't cause any discomfort. The cool temperature feels amazing and its as if it electrifies my g-spot once it makes contact. I don't think I've gotten SO aroused from a glass probe so quickly before. The swirls are not abrasive and are subtle enough that I can thrust this without any pain or worry. The head provides amazing g-spot stimulation and doesn't even require any pressure.

I decided to flip it around and try the nubbed side. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is equally as arousing as the swirled side. I can thrust it just as much and just as fast. I did neglect to wipe off the other end before I did this. It got really slippery and did start to turn. I had to take a moment to fix that situation before continuing for fear of it slipping and bruising me internally. It never did hit me uncomfortable, though.

I got so aroused from the texture and temperature combination that I found my fingers on my clit in no time. I am not one to be able to finish from penetration alone easily, especially if the probe does not vibrate, but I came within minutes! I had not expected to like this that much! I think that the moderate size, only slight curve and raised texture are perfect for me. I have a sensitive vagina that has no problem feeling texture on condoms, so this was a gem to find. It's even great to rub the texture on the vulva and clit.

Even though I had no, and have no intention of using this double ended dildo with anyone else at the same time that I am using it, I did notice that it seems to short to be used that way. If you are looking for a toy to use as such, I suggest looking for something longer.

This dildo is surprisingly easy to clean. The subtle texture does not require more than a washcloth's abrasion to clean it free of gunk. It can be used with any kind of lubricant and doesn't need a lot of it either. I was able to wash it with hot water and soap or a toy cleaner, no problem. It can also be completely sterilized by boiling it in water for 5 minutes.

Unfortunately, some how mine got chipped during its first use. I never dropped it of clanged it on anything. One of the nubs has a small sliver that came out of it. I refuse to throw it out, so I simply don't use the nubbed end anymore.

It can be stored with any toys, pretty much anywhere, as long as it is protected.

This toy does not come with much. It came wrapped in a small sheet of bubble wrap that slips inside of a thin velvet pouch. The pouch has a drawstring for closure but no padding, so it is important to hold onto the bubble wrap for extra protection. When inside of the pouch, it is very discreet. Unfortunately, no care instructions or information is provided with the product.
