Icicles No. 29 - g-spot dildo by Pipedream - review by Tuesday

Icicles 29 is a good choice for those who are looking for a moderately sized glass toy with light texturing. Not sure if you like texture? This toy will give you subtle texture sensations that will not overwhelm.

Description and Dimensions
Number 29 measures 4 3/8 inches around the head. The shaft has a circumference of 3 1/2 inches. Glass ribbons spiral around the shaft. Each ribbon is about 1/8th of an inch wide. The ribbons are separated by approximately the same amount. Viewed from the side, it looks almost like it has a checked pattern. The swirls on the opposite side can be seen crossing at a 90 degree angle with the ribbons on the side facing you.

The head is completely smooth and untextured, although the blue color from each swirl does continue swirling around the head.

It has a flat base and can stand on this base without wobbling. This is convenient if you want to put it down without allowing the head to touch anything. The wider base makes this an anal-safe toy, although the textured shaft will probably be too much for that purpose except for adventurous anal enthusiasts.

The base is colorless, as is the interior of the toy. You can look through the bottom of the base and see the insides of the blue swirls. It appears to be very nicely made.

Material and Cleaning
It is made of body safe, break resistant Borosilicate glass which makes cleaning easy. Simply wash with soap and water and towel dry or clean it in your dishwasher. Any lube is safe to use with it. It can be warmed with hot water or cooled in ice water if desired.

Packaging
Icicles 29 comes in a sturdy box with a flap that opens to let you see the product through a clear plastic window even before you open it. The toy just fits inside the form-fitting foam package insert. No storage bag is included. You will want to store it either in a separately purchased bag or soft wrapper or in the original box.

Performance
The base makes an easy handle to grip during use. The raised swirls provide a wonderful texture that adds more to the experience than you might expect. While the smooth head is gliding back and forth across your G-spot, the textured shaft adds it's own marvelous sensation.

I did not expect Icicles 29 to be remarkable, but it is. The ribbons add to the sensations of this toy in a delightful and pleasurable way. I don't usually notice the texture on the shaft of a toy with a smooth head, but Icicle 29's textured shaft contributed at least as much as the head to the experience.

Icicles 29 makes a noise during use due to those lovely ribbons. No matter how wet or lubed you are, it will not be silenced. This toy might not be a good choice if a toy that makes a sound during use will bother you.

If you already know that you dislike texture, this one will be too much for you. But if you're wanting to try a textured toy or already know you enjoy texture, Icicles 29 is a surprisingly good choice.
