If you like 'em thick, swelling, smooth and hitting all the right spots, you're going to love Doc Johnson's newest toy. Reflections Cool is the most beautiful glass piece to come out of the adult toy industry to date, in my humblest of opinions. With the look, feel and weight of stainless steel, and the 100% sterilizable hygienic quality of glass, this toy couldn't get any better.

Glass is my new favorite sex toy material. I was scared to try it but once I did, I was impressed! It's incredibly easy to sterilize and maintain. Never a lint magnet, and easy to brush any dust away from.

It is also durable, despite the bad rap it gets, and will likely last longer than you do. Per the EF product materials page on E-glass, it is also known as Cyberglass. It doesn't appear to be different from other glass used in adult toys, per my experience, however I've heard there are differences in each breed. Per the page, 'Glass is a hard, non-porous and phthalate-free material with a high chemical resistance and mechanical strength. It retains temperature extremely well and requires only a little lube for a super-slippery effect.'

As turned on as you may get with this piece, be sure not to thrust too vigorously against your cervix, or you may bruise yourself internally. Glass is hard and unforgiving, unlike your bendier, squishier silicone toys.

One drawback of this unique glass piece is the beautiful mirrored finish. It appears to be a painted surface, and the entire glass piece was dipped in this hard, metallic paint. There are a couple of tiny scratches in the surface, which may multiply with continued use, if I'm not careful. The scratches are aesthetic only, however. I couldn't feel them whatsoever when running my hand over the piece, which is a good sign. They are also not deep, and I can't see the paint flaking off or chipping anytime soon. They're simply visual flaws in the piece. I honestly didn't even find them until someone else mentioned the Reflections series having this issue. I had to hunt for them to find them!

Mr. Cool's serpentine form slides easily into your hand, and carries a satisfying weight that comes with quality glass products. The curved mid-section plus G-spot tip ensures the perfect placement in your flowerpot. Sighs will breed at an exponential rate as the ergonomic shape of this dildo capture your G-spot over and over.

At 3/4 pound, Cool could also be used as a weapon! It's a bit heavy for extended use, as your arm may tire of supporting its weight thrusting in and out of your pleasure zones.



The plastic-tubing-wrapped wire handle slings it around with ease. Cool was formed with a smooth hole drilled through the base on one end. The cord moves effortlessly through the hole and makes for easy retrieval of the inserted toy.



At 1.25" in diameter at the swell in the curved tip, this piece feels girthier than it looks. For a size queen like me, that is the opposite of a problem. And the over 7" of insertable loveliness that Doc Johnson offers here are well-accepted! The length is perfect. I find that inserting this to about 5.5" is enough to stimulate me. The retrieval cord is handy in this case, but not a necessity.

Speaking of retrieving, I do not recommend this toy for anal; no way no how. No flared base means it could very well get sucked into your rectum, requiring a trip to the ER for emergency removal. Never insert a toy without a flared base in your backdoor. Even the retrieval cord featured here is not enough to ensure your safety during anal play.

The pointed tip makes for easy of insertion, but be careful, again, when thrusting. The unforgiving hardness of the glass against your cervix is not to be taken lightly. Thrust gently until you know where your comfort zone is. A bruised cervix is not a desirable outcome of a play session!

The bend in the middle of the piece is intimidating, but with careful maneuvering, is found incredibly useful. See below for performance details.

In your hand and against your skin, the glass not only feels deliciously smooth, cool, and sexy, but the slick finish leaves you rarely needing lube. I found that my personal lubrication was astoundingly enough for use with Mr. Cool. The glass slides with ease through the lightest of dampness.

The bend in the toy is it's greatest feature. My G- and A-spots require a firm stroking from a crook in a toy or finger, and the bend in the center of this glass marvel provided the perfect angle. Inserting the toy past the crook requires gentle maneuvering, but once it's done, look out! Happiness undoubtedly ensues.



See, from this diagram you'll notice the G-spot just a couple inches in the vagina. The Cool curve is shaped perfectly to ensure the G-spot is stimulated to the fullest extent. The A-spot, which is rumored to be the cause of female 'squirting' orgasms, which produce Alkaline fluids during ejaculation, is located just 2 inches further inside. Incredibly easy to clean with soap and water, Mr. Cool is very low-maintenance. Wrap him in a towel and boil him for extra peace-of-mind, but be sure to leave the plastic cord out of the water, and away from hot metal pot edges. It will melt!

Silicone, water, and oil-based lubes can play with your new glass dildo, and get along splendidly. Lubes will slick right up on this non-porous surface, and stick around til you allow the toy to air-dry, or wash it clean. Personally I recommend using only water-based or silicone lubes vaginally, as oil can cause irritation leading to yeast infections.

You may store Cool loose with other toys, in the box he came in, or in a padded glass toy pouch. You can purchase them on EF or make your own.

While discretion is thrown to the wind with this vibrator showcase packaging, the design is certainly artistic, appealing, and cute!

If I get ambitious enough, one day I can certainly try icing this down in icy water, even freezing it, and boiling it as well for hot/cold temperature play. One should always be sure to test the toy on the inside of the wrist before using it on sensitive parts and proceed with caution, as burns or freezer burns can happen this way.

I said it once, but I'll say it again: I don't recommend the toy for anal, as the slight flare on the base isn't enough to be sure the toy will never get sucked into the black abyss. The retrieval cord is definitely handy in this situation, but I wouldn't rely solely on it. Not for a moment. This cord to me is more for ease of removal during vaginal use.

I did notice while using this vaginally and being penetrated anally that the toy's firmness became much more intense. It was painful when trying to do double penetration with the toy and my boyfriend's penis. Silicone toys are great for such play, but not this glass toy.

For travel purposes, you'll have no problem bringing Cool with you. Provided that you have a padded toy bag to protect your buddy from breakage, getting through airport security and on to your destination with this metal-looking toy should be a breeze.

At Christmas time, hang Cool on your tree to marvel at his reflective surfaces. Just kidding, but he does look like a tree ornament!
