I was super impressed by the texture of this toy. The shaft is veined and has a realistic shape. When inserted the "veins" didn't seem to add any extra pleasure, however, the material definitely did. The whole toy is made of silicone, and it is CRAZY soft. I have many silicone toys, but this seemed to be the silkiest one. It almost has a "memory foam" feel. There are no indentations when you press on it like "memory foam" would have, but it really reminded me of that. Even the glands of this toy are a bit "squishy." Being soft it is a firm toy so it will not be flopping around all over the place which I love. Overall this vibe is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. Perfect for almost anyone!

I absolutely loved the design of this vibe. I think it has a great realistic insertable shape when it comes to length and girth. The details of the shaft are authentic including foreskin, urethra, glands, and veins. There is approx. 5 inches of insertable length. The girth is approx. 5 inches around estimating about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The suction cup is about 3 1/4 inches in diameter.
The suction cup screws off which houses the batteries in the shaft (2 AA), but this is what makes it usable in your strap-on play. Whether you have a double ring harness that crosses in-between the suction cup and toy itself, unscrew it around your o-ring harness and screw the cup back on.

There is a small egg like wireless controller that is as soft as the toy and has an easy on and off button. There is a LED light that lights up around the button but only illuminates when pressed. The on and off button on the shaft DOES NOT light up or stay on like the beige playmate.

I was afraid the "glands" might get in the way of the whole usage of the toy, but they didn't. These actually added a realistic feel.

When it comes to performance, The Playmate really shows its true colors. It has easy to use controls, so in the heat of the moment, it's easy to maneuver around. There are 2 on and off options. One option is on the bottom of the shaft where a power button is located. Here you can press to turn on, change functions, or hold and turn off. The easiest way I found to operate this toy is with the wireless remote. Press the button once to turn on and with each click find a pattern you like. After all 10 functions are passed through, it brings you back to function 1. Press and hold the bottom to turn the vibe off. The Playmate has a "standby mode" that the instruction booklet goes into great detail about. To be brutely honest I didn't understand it. Why would I even need a stand by option? I ignored the whole function.
The 10 dynamic rhythms are in the following order (number 1 being the first one you feel once the toy is turned on):

4, Gradient burst
5, intermittent

All these vibrations can be felt throughout the shaft (and glands surprisingly). However, the strongest vibrations are felt at the head.
I do wish these vibrations were a little softer sounding. They were muffled a bit once inserted, which I expected but it would have been nice for this toy to be a little quieter. I also did not see a decline in performance whether it was used in the shower or underwater. I did, however, seem to notice that the batteries went fast. I did leave them in for a few days which I KNOW is a bad thing, so take your batteries out! It did stand up to be quite a powerful toy any way it was being used.

While silicone is a very favorable material for a sex toy to be made of, it is extremely clingy, especially this toy! You can even see in my pictures lint and dust from blankets and sheets. If you can keep this toy in the original package or a silk pouch of some short maintenance, it will be easier. Always remember to never store your toy with batteries in it!
Washing your toy is simple. Use your favorite toy cleaner or soap and water. If you are really clean conscience, boiling for 3 minutes or on the top rack of the dishwasher will work (just the shaft not the suction cup or remote). Silicone also is best used with a water-based lubricant, but be conscious of where you are inserting this toy. Use an anal lube for anal play.

LOVED the packaging for this toy. It seems like Eden slacks a bit in the packaging of some of their toys. I am a big believer in a presentation is everything. The packaging was sturdy, and it came with A LOT of literature on how to use the toy both inside and outside of the box. I saved the box, and I am storing this toy in there. It is a bit of a big box so just think about how much space you have when storing it. Definitely an overall A+ for instructions.

I really enjoyed using this toy. Actually now I have a favorite waterproof toy! Loved the versatility of the suction cup, strap-on use, and both vaginal and anal uses. When inserted, it felt very realistic and filling, A++. I would recommend this to anyone. I can easily say it's one of my top 10!
