I wasn't sure about the Dichroic Spiral, with it's slightly curved shaft, large head, and the textured ridges that swirl around the girth of the toy. When I first took it from its box, I was impressed with the craftsmanship and admired the beauty of the colored swirls and the gentle curve of the glass, but also wondered if the ridges would be a distraction, and if so, would they be a pleasant distraction or an uncomfortable one?

I was afraid the ridges on the Dichroic Spiral would create an unwelcome friction that I wouldn't enjoy as much. I was still eager to try. I warmed myself up with a silicone-based lube, waiting until I was swollen and slippery before starting to tease myself with the slick rounded head of the toy. It didn't take long before I craved all of it, and once it filled me and warmed up to my body temperature, I realized that the ridges provided a different but pleasurable sensation, interrupting the slippery surface with a texture that provided varied stimulation as it passed in and out. The slight curve meant it exerted pressure on different areas depending on how it was held and with some maneuvering, I was able to get into the perfect position to finish.

I would recommend this toy for anyone who enjoys penetration. If you only orgasm from clitoral contact, you may not appreciate this toy as much. I think it's a beautiful piece and a satisfying toy, the weight and size are perfect and it's nice to look at!
