I have been hearing for so long how awesome glass is. A search through glass dildos brought me to the Clear Ribbed G-spot Wonder by Phallix. After wondering to myself “why doesn’t this have a review yet?” I requested it, and was ecstatic when it was shipped out.

When I finally held this in my hands, I instantly understood why the rave and craze over glass. It was cool fresh out of its satin bag, and the weight felt really good. For curiosities sake, I put it under warm water in the sink and it warmed up within seconds. I turned the water to cold, and again, the temperature of the toy changed quickly. I have not gotten into temp. play much, but this dildo has been enticing me to try. When it came to finally using the toy, I noticed it warmed to my body heat quickly as well.

As far as size and shape go, this dildo is about perfect. It is not thick at all, but the material and nubs on the shaft more than make up for this. The nubby shaft is one inch in diameter and the entire toy is about 7 1/2 inches long. The curve is not extreme, but still rather generous and super effective for me. Though both ends are quite stimulating, it really is too short to use as a double dildo.

Speaking of those two heads…they are both quite nice, but the tapered end was more effective for me. The end with two balls works great as a handle, and the curve is closer to the tapered end making it hit my G-spot better than the balled end. Maybe this thing is really magnetized…towards pleasure spots that is. It takes zero effort on my part to get this to hit my G-spot. If you like your toys super clean, or share with someone else, then you are in luck. Glass is one of the three materials (along with metal and pure silicone) that may be sterilized via boiling for three minutes, dishwasher on the top rack with no soap, or wiped/sprayed with a 10% bleach solution followed by a hot water rinse. I don’t share my toys, so I only do a weekly sterilization to keep everything in excellent condition and sparkling like new.

When it comes to storage, you may want to invest in a padded bag (how clever that Phallix makes these, but include little satin bags with their uber expensive dildos, thus requiring an additional purchase). Glass should be kept protected from being banged and chipped or scratched by anything sharp (and yes, I’m talking to all the BDSM lovers out there, including myself). The satin bag it comes in is black with white lace and a white bow. The drawstring has a cord stopper on it just like my winter coat does…not very sexy, but practical nonetheless. My G-spot Wonder is currently housed within its satin bag, on a shelf next to my bed where none of those other toys can crowd it. I keep it where it is within arms reach when I wake up in the morning.

I wanted to mention that the flower on mine looks much like a rose, though it is still blue. It isn’t a big deal, and actually I think mine looks prettier than the one pictured. One must take into account Phallix dildos are hand blown, and there are bound to be some variations in color, size, and shape (depending on the dildo, as not all are even have color), though they will be small.

This is a dildo that I can reach orgasm with without even touching my clit. I can’t say that about many toys…okay, this is probably the only one so far that is not something worn on a penis. Though when used for clit stimulation, it works quite well. The nubs feel awesome with a little lube.
