Six inches is super, thanks

First, let it be known that I am not a size queen. My husband and most of my toys all run in the range of slightly above average. So when I discovered that Doc Johnson -- whose other dildos I'm quite fond of -- makes the Platinum Silicone Super, a dildo that isn't a hulking monstrosity, I was all over it. Figuratively and literally, mind you.

The Platinum Silicone Super is a realistically designed dildo that is six inches in length and 1 5/8 inches around -- a little on the girthy side, but perfect for those of us who prefer dildos that are closer in size to their real counterparts. It is a realistic dildo, which means that it is shaped and molded to resemble a real penis, complete with the defined head, frenulum, shaft with veins and texture, and testicles. In my opinion the head and shaft are almost a little too defined, as I've had the shaft and the area just behind the head "catch" during use -- particularly penetration in the missionary position.

Being made out of medical-grade silicone means having a dildo that can be 100% sterilized (plop it in boiling water for a few minutes and you're good to go!) -- perfect if you plan on sharing with a friend, using it for anal play, or are simply fastidious about keeping your toys clean and sanitary. It also means no worries about materials breaking down or leeching harmful phthalates and other chemicals into the atmosphere -- or worse, on your other toys.

My only other critique about the Platinum Silicone Super is that I personally feel it could benefit from a little more "give". Just as real penises are hard yet soft, I wish this one had a little more softness to it. But other than that, my experience with it has been that it is damn close to the real thing!
