So dildo - double ended dildo discontinued by Dorcel - review by llellsee

As a fan of Marc Dorcel toys (is it just me or the French generally pull off sex toy designing particularly well) I was more than a little eager to try out what I thought of as the silicone version of the very popular ‘Eleven’ dildo. With the Eleven being made of stainless steel and me being a silicone fanatic to the core, I believe someone found out about my desire for a silicone version and created it just for me. Joking aside, it’s a pretty great idea to have made a more ‘forgiving’ version of the similarly designed dildo that is so solid and intimidating girthy.





Packaging:

While I usually prefer my toy packaging to leave all the stripping off to me; the ‘So’ arrives in packaging which actually manages to incorporate a black and white image with nudity and have it feel sleek and upmarket.

Speaking of eroticism and chic glamour in regards to his line of toys, it is no surprise that he knows how to pull off nudity on sex toy packaging without it looking seedy. The back of the packaging includes product information in a range of languages and describes the So as being ergonomic and perfectly curved to stimulate the G-spot.




First Impression:

Seeing the So Dildo in person for the first time I realised just how generously girthy its larger end is. Feeling it in my hands, the larger end feels quite solid and weighty. When squeezing it, it feels like there may be a solid ball placed in its large end while the smaller end feels far more flexible but still firm enough to provide a decent level of G-spot stimulation.

The silicone used has a velvet-like texture and a drag on its surface meaning that a generous amount of water-based lube will most likely be needed for comfortable play. I’ve found that once adequately lubed up, silicone toys with this drag still create a pleasant amount of friction while thrusting.

With one end of the So being about twice as big as the other it offers a decent warm up aswell as what is sure to be a breath-taking experience. If you are looking to challenge your size limits without having to risk investing in a toy that ends up not fitting: this is ideal as one end is very manageable size-wise while being stimulatingly curved and textured too.

In Use:


Starting with the smaller end of the So, it works well for clitoral rubbing before insertion. A drop of lubricant is needed as silicone has a drag. Once wet, the curved shape of the smaller head nestles into the clit without effort. When inserted, the two textured bumps under the head feel intense as they massage both the entrance and then front walls of the vagina. The curved head manages to find the g-spot with such ease.

With its intelligently ergonomic design; using the larger end of the So as a handle actually causes the smaller end to curve more and more towards the G-spot applying a surprising level of pressure for a silicone toy.

The larger end of the So needs alot of warm up but luckily the level of G-spot stimulation provided by the smaller end is exactly what was needed for me to handle the girthy 6 inch circumference of the larger end. Toy users who can regularly manage toys with a diameter of two inches should find the large end manageable. With toys like the James Deen Dildo and Tantus T-Rex in my collection I found its girth and level of firmness comparable to them.

While the smaller end of the So features two textured ridges, the larger end instead features a thick, pronounced head which is quite rounded in shape. Internally this thick head creates such a sensation of stretch that pulling on it as if removing it will quite literally take your breath away.


Care:

Made of high-quality Silicone, the So is both Latex and Phthalates free, silicone is completely non-porous meaning that it can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher or it can be simply washed after use with warm soapy water or specialized toy cleaner, it is generally believed that silicone based lubricants should not be used with silicone toys. I would recommend using a generous amount of water-based lubricant with the So.

I keep mind stored in a large Zip-sealed bag in between uses as I find this the best way to keep it clean and dust free which can be otherwise difficult to do with lint attracting silicone.

With two ends to choose from, the So still gets regular use here. Whether it's for filling and intense G-spot play or less filling warm up play, the firm build of the So's silicone means it provides some surprisingly decent pressure to the G-spot with such ease.
