This is the prettiest dildo I have ever seen. Also it was awesome.

This is a dildo made of tempered glass by Doc Johnson. Its shape is straight but waved and it does not have a flared base, although the end designed to use more as a handle is rounder and has a larger circumference than the other three waves on the dildo. This toy would best be used for vaginal, not anal, play, because of its shape and lack of flared base. Glass is very unforgiving, so hard thrusting is a no-no. You don't want a bruise on your cervix no matter how much you may like one on your ass. Glass is incredibly safe though, ranked a 10 on Eden's material safety scale, so it can be shared between partner's easily with sterilization and due to its nonporous surface, it can be used without condoms and easily cleaned. It is also totally waterproof just as much as any of your glass dishes are. This is a dildo, not a vibrator, so it also doesn't make sounds and therefore could be used anywhere so long as you aren't loud!

This is glass, so there is no smell or taste anymore than there is if I lick a plate. Its touch is cool at first, but it warms up to your body also. Glass retains temperature really well, so it will stay cold or warm for much longer than other materials like plastic, silicone, or wood. This opens up opportunity for temperature play, though it is important not to put this in the freezer for long or to try to insert it soon after boiling because too extreme of temperatures are dangerous for insertion.

The texture of this piece is totally smooth. It has no ridges, bumps, or anything other than the 4 waves. These glide smoothly and are easy for anyone to use, even those just starting out with penetration who aren't sure what they like yet.

Glass obviously does not bend and if thrusted too hard and deep, it will hurt.

The shape of the reflections amber is straight, rigid, and wavy. There are 4 waves, one of which is a round handle of sorts. The other 3 are large waves, just as pictured, that provide for added sensation. Although you can barely feel them, they do add something to the experience. It feels less like just a big stick. It's more pleasurable. This size is pretty good. I find it to be sufficient to warm me up before my partner and I start having intercourse. There are few things I have felt that are close to as stimulating as my partner's penis, and until this partner, I was really not that into penetrative sex. So when I say I love this dildo, that's a pretty solid endorsement.

This toy would be obvious to someone familiar with glass dildos, but I don't think if my conservative mother saw it she would get it. She would definitely be confused and ask what it was, though, so unless you're an artsy person who might just have something like this, keep it in a drawer. It is not meant to be realistic and neither side looks like a head of a penis.

The look of the dildo is beautiful. The color is amber, but it's so hard to describe. It's iridescent or something. The pictures don't do it justice.

There are several great things about this toy. First of all, though, it is not harness compatible, has no flared base for safe anal play, and has no suction cup or other uses. It is purely a glass dildo. However, that comes with benefits--it can be used with any lube, will cause no allergy or infection problems for anyone, can be sterilized and easily used with different people, even if one has an STI, can be used for temperature play, and is totally waterproof and could be submerged in a bathtub, a hot tub (not recommended--temperature could cause problems when inserted). It could even be used as a massager.

This has a texture, or something else to it that isn't just a straight line, but it's smooth and soft enough that a beginner or someone who dislikes texture can also use it enjoyably. Its design is something that can't blatantly be felt the way larger bubbles could be, but if it wasn't there, you could tell. Subtlety.

It's a size that's on the longer end of the average penis size (6.25" insertable), but you don't need to insert the whole thing, so you can get a range of sizes. I found 6.25" for play perfectly acceptable, even though my partner is over 2" longer than that. For something without much give like glass, the heaviness can make up for shorter lengths. This can be used by beginners or people who don't like much length on their toys. The shape of it could even be interesting to rotate with.

This toy performs well and will last forever due to being made from glass. Considering the cost, that's quite an investment when you think about the fact that you could be using this same toy decades from today.

Glass is very easy to take care of. It can be washed with any number of soaps or wipes, put in a dishwasher, boiled, whatever suits your fancy or is appropriate for your uses and/or partner(s). It can be stored anywhere, however you like, but it is best to put it in or around soft things so it doesn't clank against stuff, running the risk of chipping or scratching, which would make it unsafe to use. EF sells padded bags to use with glass toys. Some glass toys come with a pouch, but this one does not.

The packaging could be used as storage if you wanted to, but I don't. Several languages are featured on the packaging. It is made and packaged in China.

It is thin plastic and see through so everyone will know what you got.

This dildo is great! I love the cool feeling upon insertion. It's very smooth and glides with little lube. My partner and I used a bit of lube to start out with just so it would slide in easier, but once inside, it glides really easily. I get very wet naturally, so I never felt the need to reapply. This can be used with a partner or solo. When just half of it is inserted, it can go in a number of angles that help stimulate immediately inside the vagina, which is my most sensitive area, and provided me with almost enough stimulation to orgasm without any clit stimulation, which is a must for me usually. However, unfortunately, it hasn't gone that far yet--still working on it. Maybe in the follow up review, I will have finally mastered that with this toy now in my arsenal. Overall, my partner and I loved this toy, and we both really like how it looks, which is why it jumped out to us in the first place. I'm giving this 5 stars, because there aren't any cons I could find aside from that some people may prefer something larger.
