Dual use S shape - double ended dildo by Nob essence - review by NY Toyfan

I tend to like less flexible materials. I am already a big fan of stainless steel toys. So, I thought I should give wood a try. A wooden dildo is so earthy and natural. I ordered two from Nobessence. I will write about the second (smaller) one soon, but I thought I would start with the Big Boy first. Nobessence calls this one the Tryst. A Tryst sounds so light and effortless. I think "Dual use S shape" is a better name, because this toy is anything but effortless! Using this is a bit of a project. It's a project that is still ongoing and I have high hopes that it will ultimately prove to be a complete success!

My New Toy Arrives

First off- the Tryst is about 11" long, so it comes in a decent-sized box. The box is fairly stylish though- the part holding the toy slides in and out of the frame of the box. It closes with a neat zig-zag pattern. The box is a work of art (which I had to mutilate a bit so that it would fit into my nightstand drawer). My wife was hoping she could use the box for other things, but it is occupied at the moment!

Now for the toy itself- Very impressive. My initial impressions:
1. It is pretty (or handsome, if you prefer)- mine is made with bamboo and has interesting swirling patterns. Nobessence says each one is different (I haven't seen another one yet, so I will take their word on that).
2. It is incredibly SMOOTH. People worry about wood and splinters or rough patches. That is not a worry with this toy. It was smooth from the first touch, and while there were a couple of very tiny areas which I thought were less than perfectly smooth (to say they were rough would be too much of an overstatement), after rubbing over those spots with my hand a few times, it felt uniformly smooth.
3. It is very BIG. There is a smaller end that gives bead-like stimulation (1.25" thick). Then there is the MUCH larger other end- let's just say I laughed when I first saw it. They say the ball on that end is 1.5" thick, but it seemed larger to me. Then after it tapers at the bottom of the larger ball, it expands again (along a curve no less) to a 2" thick bump. More on that later!
4. For its impressive size, it is surprisingly lightweight (I can't remember the exact number, but it weighs a fraction of what the Pure Wand weighs). I am used to steel toys which are much heavier. I appreciated the firmness combined with the lightness of this toy.

Playing with it

I was able to use the smaller end immediately. I lubed it up and it went right in. That side provide a nice press against the prostate, but I found the balls to be a bit too small for my tastes. Besides, let's be honest- I bought this to use the bigger side. When I tried the larger side, however, I had a really difficult time getting that larger ball inside. Like I said earlier, I think the ball is somewhat larger than the advertised 1.5" thick. But, also, it is not a perfect ball- it has a somewhat extended shape and a flatter top, making it a bit more challenging to insert. I had to switch back to my Wand to open up a bit more, but even then, I still had a hard time getting the ball in. Finally, since I had not given myself hours to accomplish this insertion, I had to call it a day and move on.

But, don't give up yet- I did come back to it later, having started out with the Wand to loosen up. This time, although it took a bit of effort, I did get the larger ball completely in. It is a very filling sensation. Next challenge- getting the 2" bump in. I must confess, while I did make some progress in taking in some of the bump as it expanded to its 2" of fullness, I did not manage to get the whole thing in. It just wouldn't go any further. The way the large bump comes right at the point of curve on the Tryst makes it a bit more challenging to get it in. More effort will be required.

Lubes and Clean-Up

Works with any kind of lube. Soap and water are perfect for cleanup (dishwasher safe as well).

With the large ball inside, there is no chance of it slipping out. So, I decided to grab a new toy and take it to the bathroom to wash it off. I kept the Tryst inside me while I ran this errand. And that is how I made an amazing discovery. Walking around with the larger ball inside provided instant and direct pressure on my prostate. This was much better than what I felt sitting on it. Every step was intensely pleasurable. I came back to the bedroom, kept my feet on the floor and, leaning my shoulders slightly forward and arching my back, I pressed by lower back (right at the tailbone) against the mattress (you need a high bed to do this- otherwise you have to squat a bit lower). The Tryst was pointed completely down- so it was not being thrust in. Instead, the ball was bumping up against the prostate everytime I backed into the mattress. That movement produced one of the most powerful orgasms I have had in a while. Although I hadn't managed to get the full 2" inside of me, I felt like I had officially broken in my new toy.
