This item is placed in the vagina. I placed them in to walk around my house, when I went to a party, and also to be spanked as mentioned in 50 Shades. It was an enlightening experience. The feeling is foreign at first, but you get used to it. They do force you at certain times to clinch your vaginal muscles. I did do Kegel exercises as I walked around with them in at home and at the party I attended. Be careful to not place them too far in because you want to be able to reach the string. Also make sure that they are well lubricated before placement, water- or oil-based lube will work. They are made of a sturdy plastic and they are weighted. These should be washed with warm water and soap or with a toy cleaner and be sure to allow the string time to clean before storing. The packaging can be used for storage.

These are safe for travel, though I do not think they would be great as a carry on. These are also very effective at heightening the feelings of an orgasm if pulled out at the height of orgasm. They are a bit noisy when you remove them from the package. I would not carry them around in my purse without having a box to carry them around in. A note is that if the string is not washed properly, it can be a problem. Be sure that you throughly hand wash the strings.
