Fetish Fantasy ben wa balls - vaginal balls discontinued by Pipedream - review by Experiment

For those who don't know, Ben wa balls serve a dual purpose. They are used primarily to aid in Kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor and thereby help with sex and orgasm. However, many women find the balls to be quite pleasurable to wear and find them as a prolonged teaser.

These Ben-Wa balls are made of pure glass. This gives them a smooth surface with little friction (which is great for Ben-Wa balls) and also makes them great for temperature play. These can be run under either warm or cool water, microwaved, or placed in a freezer or fridge. Because these are made of glass (rather than plastic or metal) they change temperature really quickly and without fuss. This is great initially, but I found that when the Ben-Wa balls were cooled they tended to warm up quite quickly once I'd inserted them. Glass is non-porous which is fabulous because it means it won't be building up any bacteria over time. It's not going to be peeling or having paint chips or anything like that which is also really nice. These particular Ben-Wa balls are black glass, which really just makes them look like over-sized black marbles. They have a quite solid black color and while I think a more transparent, cloudy black would have been prettier, they are still quite pretty.

On Edenfantasys, these are either sold in the medium (1.25 inches) or small (1 inch). I bought the small Balls. They have a diameter of one inch and weigh .7 ounces. This is actually my first try with any sort of Kegel exercisers/Ben-Wa balls and I personally chose the smaller size because I'm a bit on the small size and can often feel overwhelmed by larger girthier toys. Looking through other reviews of Ben-wa balls I've seen people say that smaller is better for beginners and also that larger is better for beginners. I'm not really sure whether a larger Ben-Wa ball makes doing the Kegel exercises easier or harder. Personally, as a beginner to Kegels with the small size, I didn't feel any fear that they were going to fall out on me and I wasn't at all overwhelmed by their size.







As said above, these really just look like over-sized marbles. Someone who themselves uses Ben-Wa balls would probably recognize what they are, but everyone else would just see two small glass balls and probably think nothing of it.

These balls work quite well, however even as a first time user I didn't find them too challenging to use. A more experienced user will probably want something a bit heavier to add a bit of difficulty. I found these comfortable while they were in, though I did have a difficult time getting them out. Overall, I was pleased with using the balls and will be using them again.

These toys are made of glass, so you can simply wash them with some soapy water or wipe them down with an EF toy wipe and they should be fine. You can use any kind of lube you want with it.




The balls do come with their own storage bag. I think the best part of the storage bag that a lot of other balls don't have is that the bag actually has a seam that goes down the middle of it. This gives it two distinct little pockets. It makes it so that the balls won't clank together when not in use which is a small little touch that I think is just brilliant.



Wipe em down, put them in their little bag, and you can just throw them in a drawer. Maintenance and storage of these toys is a breeze.

The packaging is simply a cardboard box with a plastic insert. However, despite the cheaper materials, it does have an air of class to it. At first glance the packaging is discreet. It's simply a black and grey box with a hand holding a pair of glass ball. There's no stripper in lingerie moaning or anything like that. However, upon second glance, the box does have the words "FETISH Fantasy Series" across the top.




If someone were to just glance at the packaging, they'd think it was quite discreet. A harder look however quickly reveals that these are a sex toy.

Because these come with their own storage pouch, there's really no need to keep the box or plastic insert, although you could if you wanted to.
