Bedroom Kandi Natural Lubricant: a premium glycerin- and paraben-free lube

Overall, this was a pleasant product. It felt close to natural lubrication and I felt reassured it was organic and plant-derived and did not contain harmful ingredients. It was also useful as a massage oil during foreplay.

Bedroom Kandi Natural Lubricant is a glycerin-free, paraben-free, natural ingredient, water-based lubricant that is safe for use with latex and silicone toys. It is a revamp of the Sliquid Organics Natural line. OhMiBod has partnered with Kandi Burrus of the Real Housewives of Atlanta to offer her line of Bedroom Kandi products. Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The lubricant is thick enough to provide effective lubrication and reduce friction, yet feels light and natural. It is easy to pour and spread and does not get tacky during use like some other lubricants. It is made from natural, organic ingredients including vitamins, so it absorbs into your skin and mucous membranes. It has no strong taste or odor.

Taste / Aroma

This lubricant does not have any strong smell or taste. It is pleasant enough for oral following (or during) use. The odor out of the bottle is a very light, botanical smell and it is in no way overwhelming or distracting. Instead, it smells fresh and clean.

Performance

This naturally derived lubricant provided a pleasant experience. I found a few drops went a long way. If you tend to be drier or thrusting is prolonged, then reapplication is appropriate. It stayed smooth and silky and did not get tacky during use like some other lubricants. It absorbed well into my skin and mucus membranes and required no special cleanup. We just massaged it into my skin and let it soak in.

The lubricant comes in a discreet, dark plastic bottle that is recyclable in most areas. The label is pretty and sophisticated and looks like any other bottle of essential oils or massage oils. In fact, this product is the same as the regular Sliquid Organics Natural Lubricant. It is simply repackaged and branded for Kandi Burrus' Bedroom Kandi line by OhMiBod.

The bottle opens with one click and a tilt of the top and can be squeezed with one hand, though this requires some pressure for the first few uses.

Special Features

This is a clear, tasteless, essentially odorless lubricant derived from all natural, certified organic ingredients. The ingredient list is: Purified water, Plant Cellulose (from cotton), Aloe Barbandensis*, Natural Tocopherois (Vitamin E), Cyamopsis (Guar Conditioners), Extracts of Hibscus*, Flax*, Green Tea* & Sunflower seed*, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid (Citrus fruits).

Not only are these ingredients gentle on the body, they are non-toxic and won't harm silicone sex toys or latex condoms.

I had a good experience with this product, overall. I liked the fact that it isn't tested on animals and is naturally-derived. The toxic ingredients of some other lubricants prevents me from using them. I felt at ease with this product and enjoyed the texture and overall performance.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 4 months after original review

Bedroom Kandi Natural Lubricant is still a natural, environmentally-friendly way to get your freak on. The lube, which is a branded variant of Sliquid Organics Gel, is fortified with vitamins, minerals, and botanical ingredients. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling nice.

I enjoy the lube and find it lasts an adequate length of time for vaginal sex or body massage. It is fairly expensive and might easily be replaced with a natural ingredient from the health store, however it is a nice, discreet product for bedroom play.
