Betty Dodson's vaginal barbell - vaginal exerciser by Bad Media - review by Lucidity

Betty Dodson's Vaginal Barbell is, (as its name suggests) an exercise barbell for your ladybits. It comes in a white cardboard box with a sticker on it, explaining a bit about the product inside. This sticker boasts, "First Vaginal Exerciser Designed by a Woman Sexologist". It's neither terribly discreet nor overly explicit. Inside the box is a small instruction booklet and the barbell. No fancy bag or box, just the barbell on some tissue paper and in some plastic that resembles a Chinese finger trap.

The booklet tells you about Kegel exercises, Locating your PC muscles, Exercising the PC muscles, benefits of using Betty's Barbell, and how to use the barbell. It's a fairly comprehensive booklet, but I found the way it explained the actual usage of the barbell to be a little...less than clear.

The way I like to use the barbell, is to lube it up (steel is compatible with all lubes) with some coconut oil and use my PC muscles to slide it in and out. I'll sometimes try and hold it in while walking around my room (which is more awkward than anything, but kinda fun). The barbell is nice for masturbation, but I prefer my Pure Wand or textured glass, though it does feel quite nice. It can be used for anal, but be careful to hold on tight, as it does not have a flange, so it is not 100% safe.

Cleaning the barbell is easy. The instructions say to sanitize it through boiling before the first use. After that, it can be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and water, toy cleaner, 10% bleach solution or boiling. Please do not use anything caustic or abrasive on your barbell, as this will ruin its lovely shine.

The barbell weighs one pound, is 6 3/4" long, 2" around at the shaft, 2 3/4" around each ridge, 3" around the small ball, and 4" around the bigger ball.

Steel holds temperature very well, and this toy can be heated or cooled with just tap water. Do not use it after boiling or freezing, as extreme temperatures can damage your delicate bits.
