As a girl who loves her chocolate and is almost tempted to class it as her best friend (especially the delicious sweet creaminess of white choccie), I declare the Better Than Chocolate will win hands (or should I say orgasms) down every time!


MATERIAL:

The BTC by Nomi Tang is made of a high quality Medical Grade non-porous material. Eden states this toy is TPR which is a polymer blend that exhibits a thermoplastic character. This toy is actually Medical Grade TPE - also a polymer blend that isn't as porous as the life-like toys but more porous than silicone. It does not contain Phthalates, latex or any chemical solvents and is hypoallergenic. Only water based lubricants should be used with TPE. Better Than Chocolate got my juices flowing in no time so I have never required lube. The BTC is totally odor free even straight out of the packaging. That makes this toy perfect for anyone else who may be sensitive to chemical toy smells.


COLORING & TEXTURE:

This toy comes in navy blue, purple and pink, which I went with. It's a slightly darker pink in person than what the imagine shows and has a light gray control strip on top. The BTC features a very fine rough matte feel which is great as it allows for grip during play.



SHAPE:

The BTC has a firm ergonomic shape to fit the female form. Because we're all different, it's not going to be the perfect shape for everyone. But even for those of us who don't 'fit the mould', this is still a marvelous toy for drawn out orgasms. They may not be the most powerful but they make up for it in the climax duration (example: my typically orgasm lasts around 4 seconds, BTC orgasms are 8 - 10 seconds). She measures 2 1/2" across the widest point, 4 1/4" in length and weighs in at 4.5oz including batteries. CONTROLS:

The BTC has a unique i-touch technology slider control and is lockable. It features three vibration patterns and three speeds. A slight press of the button located on the battery cap turns this gem on and off. She will start off on a high steady vibration. If you require a lower intensity/speed, simply run your finger back towards yourself over the i-touch slider til you reach the required speed. Holding your finger on the NT logo for a few seconds and you'll have a pulsating (long drawn out vibration followed by a brief pause) effect which starts off on the slower speed. To speed the intensity up, run your finger along the slider towards the nose of the toy. Holding the logo again will take you onto the third pulsation – a long buzzing vibration with a longer pause. At any stage, you can hold the opposite end to the logo on the slider for a few seconds to lock your desired vibration and speed. This will prevent your fingers from accidentally bumping the slider mid-climax. I tend to lift my legs up and together when I orgasm and found my thigh would deactivate the lock. I need to re-program each that's less annoying than resetting part way through the climax.


NOISE & POWER:

This toy is ultra quiet making it perfect for those living with others. Behind a closed door or under the blankets, no one will be any the wiser when you require some pamper time. Don't under-estimate the power of this toy. The motor seems to be located in the nose but the vibrations are strong throughout the toy. The battery cap was difficult to twist off at first as the cap piece has little notches that fit into the main part of the toy. It's very easy to want to turn it further than it requires. This doesn't do any damage – just prevents you from pulling the cap away to expose the batteries.

CLEANING:

Being waterproof (depth of 1 meter) makes washing before and after each use with anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner very simple. The BTC cannot be sterilized by boiling. For this reason it's recommended that you don't share this toy with others as it's not very feasible to slide a condom over such a toy. The battery cap features a small clear rubber ring to prevent water from entering the battery compartment. I have tested the waterproof feature by fully submerging it and no water was able to seep in at all. I haven't tried this in the shower but I would assume that if it's able to be submerged, there shouldn't be any problems with some shower fun.


PACKAGING & STORAGE:

Better Than Chocolate comes in a white flip open box with the Nomi Tang logo pattern all over. It then has a cardboard cover (stating the product name, brand and fine details) which slips off easily. Inside the box is fully lined in a white velvet fabric and features a covered cardboard cut out that cradles your toy safely in place. Included is a complimentary card thanking you for your purchase, user manual and the sweetest velvet draw-string pouch – in case you prefer to discard the box or use it for another toy/toys. EXPERIENCE:

I have only used this toy for solo fun but because of the design, it could easily be used with a partner during intercourse. I enjoy high intensity toys and this one was powerful enough to give me the most unique orgasms to date. I have only been playing with this toy for just over a week but we have both had some great workouts! I would highly recommend this toy to both beginners and the more experienced. Because it isn't penis shaped in any way and also isn't insertable, it would be a great start for those who are experimenting to achieve their first orgasms.
