G whiz!

The Marble Slimline G is a much better clitoral vibrator than g-spot vibrator in my opinion. It can extend your reach significantly, so would be good for anyone who has a hard time reaching their clit. This toy packs a good amount of power into its small frame, but keep in mind that it is a little loud and buzzy. The Marble Slimline G is a fine little toy, good for couples of any gender, and with its price it deserves a spot in most toy boxes!

Use

The Marble Slimline G is designed to be a g-spot vibrator. Personally, I find it’s more effective for me as a clit vibrator. As a clit vibrator it can easily be used during intercourse or in combination with another toy, such as a dildo or traditional vibrator.

This toy is ideal for users who like a smooth, non-textured toy, who don’t mind buzzy vibrations or those that may have difficulty reaching their clitoris with other clit vibes for any reason.

There is also a toy with a very similar design that is marketed for prostate stimulation, called the Dr. Joel Kaplan prostate massager. Though there are slight differences in design, the Slimline G is actually 0.5” longer than the prostate massager, so for a careful user, that may also be an option with this toy.

Material / Texture

The Slimline G is made of food-grade, latex and phthalates free plastic. This material has a safety rating of 8, is completely non-porous, totally rigid and has absolutely no odor. I appreciate that the Slimline collects absolutely no lint, dust, fuzz or pet hair. It is completely clean every time I take it out to use it. I really like not needing to rinse it before use.

The Slimline G is completely smooth and has no texture. It does have a slight seam running the length of it on the front and back, but it is completely unnoticeable during use. The smooth texture makes it suitable for all users, from beginners to advanced, that do not enjoy a heavily textured toy.

Design / Shape / Size

Measuring in at 8” in total length, the Slimline G is still what I would consider a small toy. It’s easy to store due to its small size, and may not immediately be recognizable as a sex toy. You could pass this off as some kind of back massager, since it does have the long thin handle. The G definitely does not look like your typical dildo. Those features do make it a great toy to introduce into partner play. It is unobtrusive and non-threatening, and great for partners of any gender to use all over the body to tease and arouse.

The design is very basic; a bulbous head set on an angle, with a long slender handle for you to hold onto. The long handle allows for customized usage; with 7” of insertable length, no matter how shallow or deep your g-spot is you can reach it with this toy. The thin handle part measures 5.5” long and 2.5” in circumference or 0.8” in diameter, the bulb is 2” long and 4.5” in circumference, or 1.4” in diameter. The screw on lid at the bottom is 1” long.

Users that need a very extreme angle in a g-spot toy may not like the G, because its angle is slight. The thin handle, however, does allow you to get a bit of leverage so you can get more pressure if you need it. The design lends itself well to thrusting or rocking.

The angle on the bulbous head is also ideal for those who may need a little help reaching their clit. You can also get plenty of good pressure on your clit while using this externally too, since it is such a firm, rigid toy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy runs on 2 AA batteries and has a turn dial control on the base. To turn the toy on or turn the vibrations up, you turn the dial clockwise. To turn the toy off or turn the vibrations down, you turn the dial counterclockwise. The controls are convenient to use, and I’ve never accidentally adjusted the power when I didn’t want to. I do often have trouble remembering which way to turn it, so I inevitably turn it down when I want to turn it up, and then realize I have to turn it the other way. That’s mostly user error though.

When used internally as a g-spot vibrator, the vibrations and slick nature of the material cause the Slimline to have a tendency to turn. When inserted, you cannot look at the handle and tell which way is up, and often I would find the bulb ended up facing towards my back rather than facing towards my front. I chose to make a small mark on the handle with a permanent marker as a visual cue to help me know which way is up when I use this toy internally. That works very well.

The vibrations are primarily located in the bulbous head of the toy. You can feel them travel down the handle just a bit, but they are strongest in the head. They are pretty high pitched, buzzy vibrations but still pretty strong. They range in power from about 1.5 vrooms at the lowest level, to 4 vrooms at the highest level. The top speed is comparable to the Je Joue MiMi on level 4, but the G’s vibrations are much buzzier than the MiMi’s.

The vibrations are also fairly loud. They range from about 2 bees on the lowest setting to about 4 bees on the highest setting. On the highest level, my Slimline not only buzzes loudly, but also sometimes starts to rattle just a bit which definitely adds to the noise level. This is not a toy that would be good in a dorm setting, and you can’t disguise the noise under covers. The noise can be disguised if your door is closed and you have some background noise, like a fan, a radio or a TV.

The Slimline G also claims to be waterproof, but mine definitely is not. Mine is splash proof at best. Just from washing it in the sink water and soap can get inside the threads of the screw on cap. I would not recommend using this toy in the shower or bath, and I would recommend being very careful when washing it.

Care and Maintenance

The Slimline G is extremely easy to care for, requiring only a basic wash up with hot water and antibacterial soap. You can also use your favorite toy cleaner or wipe. If you need to sanitize this toy you can easily do so by using isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). This toy has absolutely no texture, so there are no nooks and crannies for grime to hide in. It washes up quickly and easily every time, even if you don’t get to it right away after use.

Besides being able to sanitize plastic, one of the other things I like about it is that it is compatible with any lube; water based, oil based, silicone based or hybrid. This makes it a cinch to use any time, any place. As a completely non-porous toy, the Slimline G will not absorb any of the lube you’re using. This means that a little lube goes a long way with this toy.

It can be stored with toys of any material, but do take care with toys made of composites like TPR and TPE. While the plastic of the Slimline G will not degrade, composite toys do degrade over time, and if they’re touching your Slimline they may ruin it for future use by melting onto it. I store mine in an old tube sock and keep it in my toy chest with all my other toys.

Personal comments

The Slimline G’s vibrations are too buzzy for me to enjoy internally. I prefer more rumbly internal vibrations, or no internal vibrations. I did, however, find that it works well as a clitoral vibrator, since I don’t mind buzzy vibrations externally. The long handle makes it easy to use during sex in a variety of positions. My favorite is to use the G during doggy style sex, because with the long handle, I don’t have to reach my hand back as far as I would if I were using my MiMi in that position. I also like that it is so firm and rigid, so I can apply plenty of pressure externally, and the vibrations do not diminish when pressure is applied.

Now that I do own a MiMi, that is pretty much my go-to clitoral vibrator. But I do still use the Slimline from time to time, especially if we are going to use a rear-entry position. It works so well for me in that position.

I would also like to mention that some users have had problems with the screw on cap cracking. I have had this toy quite some time and have never had an issue with the cap cracking; however I don’t over tighten it.

I think this would be a wonderful starter vibe, especially if a couple wants to bring some toys into their relationship but feel intimidated by large, phallic toys. The Slimline is great for couple’s play and can be used externally anywhere. Plastic is also a great material for a starter vibe because it is safe, easy to store, compatible with any lube and lasts a long time.

Huh, I wonder why they would claim it to be waterproof when it's not? Sorry to hear this is too buzzy for you. Good and detailed review though!

Thanks so much everyone for reading and commenting! I was really shocked when it claimed to be waterproof and water got inside - that was the first time that happened to me with a toy. Though I've read other reviews for this toy, and it sounds like they didn't have the same problem, so maybe it's just mine?

It's very useful to know that this one doesn't work too well for your G-spot. Or at least, that it works better for your clitoris. I'm looking for a G-spot vibrator and I want to make sure to get a good one! Great review!
