When the lighted shimmers hummer arrived I was a little apprehensive. It has a great size and length to it but it seemed awfully hard to the touch. I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. The light, speed control and ease of selection is great! The use of standard AA batteries is also a nice touch!

The hard exterior is complemented by the smoothness of it. It was not as rough as I feared it would be and if you add a little lube it glides very nicely. The design of the head makes it very easy to get clitoral stimulation exactly where you want it and also works well when inserted to hit the g-spot. The length is perfect for full insertion. We have been able to use it for foreplay as well, though we do prefer a smaller vibrator for that as this one can be a little awkward in certain positions.

The vibrations go from very light to rock-your-world with just the slightest twist of the end. Be warned, though, the strongest vibrations will make your whole pelvis vibrate. The added light is a nice addition and it goes from dim to bright with the speed of vibration you use. My husband really enjoyed this feature as it allowed him to watch me masturbate even with the lights turned off. Thankfully it is a very quiet toy so I can get off without letting the world know what I am doing! The waterproof design was a major plus, not only for cleaning, but for shower use as well for when I just need me time and that is the only place I can get it!
