Slender G 5 function - g-spot vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by missdizzy

The Slender G 5-Function makes a great 'starter' in my opinion—it's not too intimidating size-wise (6" long, 1" wide, and 1" in diameter), and the vibrations are very impressive compared to other similar products. G-spot stimulation isn't something that really does it for me, but if you do like targeted G-spot vibrations, this would be an excellent vibe. It has a nice curve to the end and comes to more of a point than any previous toy of this design that I've personally owned.

The features that I'd imagine were designed to be great G-spot stimulation are still what warrant a high rating on this one from me because this one just shot up in rank to become the second-best clit vibe I've got. (Sorry, Slender G 5-Function, but nothing beats the Hitachi.) It's also very pleasant on the nipples and on any other highly sensitive area of the body. It operates with a button on top, so it's very easy to shift between settings during use and doesn't require having to study a controller or having to remember specific combinations of buttons and twists. You just rotate through the settings by clicking the button on top. It does mean that it takes a few extra seconds to turn off, but that isn't a huge problem for me.

It's very minimal and simplistic, but it delivers when it comes to vibration.

The Slender G 5-Function is smooth, hard plastic. It's very easy to clean and non-porous—the kind of internal toy that I personally prefer.

The design works very well for me. I don't use a lot of toys for insertion, so when I do, I prefer to minimize the discomfort. It would make a very good starter vibrator.

It's slender, and it doesn't come with any connected controllers or wires. It's battery operated, so it doesn't need to be plugged in. All these features bode well for being suitable for travel, but the look of it is not discreet.

There is no option to change the intensity, only the pattern/pulse—and it does pack a punch, so if you are easily overstimulated, this might not be the vibrator for you. There are five options: one that offers steady vibration and four others that offer different patterns of vibration. I find option one and four to be the most effective, personally, but it's fun for experimental clit play as well as for nipples and other areas you might want stimulated in such a way.

It states waterproof, but I have not personally tested it in water. The battery closure doesn't appear to be entirely seamless to me, so I will probably not be completely submerging mine.

The Slender G 5-Function is very simple to clean. For me, after a wipe-down with sanitizing wipes, it was ready to be put away. The lube also wipes off very easily due to the hard plastic material.

My biggest issue with the Slender G 5-Function is actually the packaging. It came in a clear, flimsy plastic box that was torn in a corner. Even had it not been damaged, it's not the sort of box that I'd store something in. It seems very obviously meant to be a throwaway to me. The instructions were folded up beside it, but they were the wrong instructions that told you how to open a completely different type of battery enclosure.

The battery part wasn't too hard to figure out; it's fairly obvious where you're meant to unscrew the top and pop the batteries in. There is no indication of what type of batteries to put in or what end to put in first, but it only took a few seconds of trial and error to realize they were AAAs and what the right orientation was. Still, proper instructions would have been nice!

This is a great vibrator in that it isn't daunting in size or design, but it also delivers in vibration and intensity. I would highly recommend it to anyone starting out, with the cautionary warning that overstimulation might be an issue if you are extremely sensitive to the vibration.
