Kona means a strong wind often bringing rain, IT BROUGHT NOTHING.

The word Kona mean a strong wind often bringing rain. I do not know if when they named this toy they were palying on words, but it did not work. No 'Rain" was brought. In fact, it did the complete opposite. It is sad to see a big name like 'Dr.Berman' is such a disappointment on that toy. It did not do any of the jobs it claimed to do. It did not even get me off, and I can get off from a light wind.

Use

This toy is meant for G-Spot stimulation and kegel exercises. It is soft and silky. It is curved and has a bulb at one end. It is used to strengthen you vaginal muscles.

It can also be used as a g-spot stimulator, allowing you use it to masturbate and reach climax with.

It is not awfully heavy so I do not know if you can out grow it in weight, like a normal weight set.

I do kegel normally and often use my Ben-Wa balls and practice while playing holding my heavier toys in me with no hands. This seems really light-weight for me. It is more for people who are beginning to do exercises.

Material / Texture

The toy out of the package is soft and silky. It made of a flexible soft pliable material.

It had no real smell when I pulled it out of the box, which was nice since most toys usually come with some type of odor..

It is super smooth with little tiny ridges along the sides, they are not pronounced enough to make a difference.

I love the material, it feels great. It is super pleasant to feel in your hands, but doesn't really make a difference when you are using it.

The material it is made out of is a complete lint magnet. I laid it on my bathroom counter to get ready to play with it and within a matter of 30 seconds it was covered in every stray piece of hair, dust, and fuzz that was there. It was like a lint roller. I had to wash it again, so I could use it.

Design / Shape / Size

Looking at this toy you would think the design would be perfect. It wasn't. The bulb at one end was suppose to rub and stimulate your g-spot, it could not be felt.

The size around was to small for me also (again a personal preference). What I can say about the design that has nothing to do with my personal preference is that it was to light. There is almost no weight to it at all. Even just using it as a vaginal exerciser, I felt no strain at all. It was like having a tampon in (I do not mean to be graphic but that is the closest thing it reminded me of). I like when using something to work my kegel's for it to have a little weight otherwise I feel like I am not accomplishing anything. I wanted the major bulb on it to be heavier because that is where you squeeze around, but it was like there was nothing there it was so light.

I think a beginner using this would feel discouraged. There is no challenge even on the most basic of levels. Someone looking to restrengthen their vaginal muscles would waste their time with this, I understand starting out slow, but using this I think you would be going backwards. When using a vaginal strengthener you are suppose to work the muscles, contracting them and feeling what you are contracting around. You are suppose to be adjusting your tightness and looseness around the toy/exerciser, this would not be felt at all.

Performance

I understand everyone's likes are different and everyone likes different sizes and shapes, but this just did nothing for me at all. I tried to use it at different speeds and angles, but it didn't do anything.

The toy is filmsy from the material it is made out of. It just flopped around inside of me. I do not like over firm toys so I stay away from them. This was like trying to have sex with a limp penis. It just does not work. As much as you want it to feel good it doesn't.

The weight, size, and material prevented it from doing it's job, stimulating/exercising my vaginal muscles. It wasn't even that fun to play with. You should never use a toy and walk away from it feeling like you did something wrong. This toy made me wonder why put something so poorly designed out.

Care and Maintenance

When I first went to use it I set it on my bathroom counter to get my lube and was just getting ready to play. I had maybe set it down for 30 seconds to a minute and I had a problem.

I picked the toy up and I went to use it. I realized quickly that I could not use it, because it was covered in every bit of hair, lint, and fuzz that was there on the counter and some that may have been floating in the air around it. I could not use it unless I wanted every bit of that inside of me. It had to be re-washed.

I had to scrub the toy to get the lint and everything off. It was crazy, I had to go over the toy and pick every piece off, which took way to much time. I used normal soap and water to clean it.

Cleaning the toy was a lot harder then it should have been to get a toy clean, and I play with some of my other toys anally.

I have no idea where you would be able to store it without using a plastic bag or plastic wrap, even in a storage container you would have to make sure it was spotless otherwise you are going to have to scrub and wash it every single time, who has time to do that?

I am not sure where I will keep this, if I find a spot that keeps the toy spotless, I will add it to the review, but when I wrote this I had no place to put it.

Packaging

The box it comes in is a pretty clear and purple plastic box. It states what its uses are.

There is a picture of Dr.Berman on the back to advertise it is a toy from her line, which makes me feel a little weird, but I understand it.

The box does not scream sex, but rather makes it a little medicinal and nonsexual feeling.

This one was just way to medical feeling and didn't really feel like a sex toy, but something you should pick up from the health and beauty aisle, which if that is what you are looking for then it hit the nail on the head.

It was easy to open and showed off the toy.

Most times I really don't care about boxes, unless they are really unique or just really catch my attention. If you are like me though, no matter what the feeling, look, or size of the box it does not matter, because it is about what is inside. I really only care about what is inside the box, not how pretty or ugly it is outside on the wrapping. I just like to include my opinion and a description because it is part of purchasing the toy.

Personal comments

I am so disappointed with this toy. It came from Dr.Berman's line of toys, obviously it was not tested well enough or she doesn't know what she is doing(which I have heard/watched her and she seems greatly educated in sex and pleasure so I do not think that is the problem).
The way it felt out of the box was amazing.
I should have known something was up when it became a portable lint magnet.
The color usually does not matter about a toy to me, this one had a pretty color.

I love the idea of vaginal exercisers, a mini-workout for your privates. Every girl wants to be tighter, this does not tighten you at all.

Poorly designed, and a big disappointment.

I have recommended another toy that I use frequently, it stimulates the g-spot and vibrates (Product code: DJ092602)

Experience

I can't say that my experience will be the same as yours, but I will say that if you are looking for a challenge this will not do it for you, even if you are a beginner.

The toy feels amazing, material-wise and that is it.

I hope you have a better experience then me.

I would not recommend this toy to anyone.
Follow-up commentary
I have not touched this toy again. It is still where I left it after the last time I used it. I continue to agree with the 1 star I gave it in the first place.

Thanks for the review. Next time please state what the toys is made of and what lubricants are compatible. It sounds like it had a lot of "drag" and was a sticky silicone. They are always lint magnets!
Sorry this product didn't work out for you, thanks for taking the time to explain why.
