Lots of Stimulation 4 My G-Spot, Hardly Any 4 My Clit

The Vanity Vr4 would be the perfect dual stimulator for someone who wants lots of g-spot stimulation, along with a little clitoral stimulation. Unfortunately, I'm in the opposite camp, and I can't orgasm without strong vibrations on my clit, so this doesn't work well for me at all. I would have loved the Vr4 if it were just a g-spot toy and left off the clit arm all together, so I could easily use a stronger toy on my clit instead.

Use

The Vr4 is a dual stimulation or "rabbit" vibrator, deisgned to simulataneously stimulate the g-spot and clitoris. In this case, the design focuses more on the g-spot, with clit stimulation being secondary. It would be perfect for people who like strong g-spot vibrations and gentler clitoral vibrations, or for those who do not require clitoral stimulation at all.

The Vr 4 is very quiet, which makes it great for those who live with others. It's totally waterproof, so you can use it in the bath or shower.

Material / Texture

The Vr4 is made from bright fuschia silicone, which covers the entire toy, including the controls. Silicone is an extremely safe material, since it is hypo-allergenic, phthalate free, and non-porous.

The silicone has a very smooth, soft, silky finish with little drag. The toy isn't squishy, but it is felxible in some areas. The g-spot portion and handle are made of a thin layer of silicone over the hard insides of the toy, so they have no give or flex. The area where the g-spot stimulator joins to the handle is made only from silicone, so it's quite flexible, and can be bent back. Due to this flexibility, it's not possbile to get increased pressure against the g-spot by pushing down on the handle. The clit stimulator is entirely silicone, with nothing inside it, so it is very flexible as well.

Design / Shape / Size

The Vr4 is 7 1/2" long, with 3 1/2" of insertable length. It has an interesting shape. Instead of having a curved tip like most g-spot toys, it has a thick, bulged shape. This provides a full sensation, and puts pressure on the top wall of the vagina, where the g-spot is located. The thickest part is 1 1/2" wide, or 4 1/2" inches around, but it feels a lot thicker than that to me. I think this is because the bottom of the g-spot shaft is 2" lower than the top edge. Even though it doesn't have 2" of thickness in one area, the top of the toy will extend about 2" from the bottom wall of the vagina, without stretching the vaginal opening.

The Vr 4 compared with the Vr3 and Ina.

There's something about the curves of the Vr4's shape that feels really good to me. I normally don't get much (if any) enjoyment from just inserting a toy and letting it sit there, but as soon as I inserted the Vr4 it felt really good, before I even turned the vibrations on.

The clit stimulator is a small flap of silicone, which extends about an inch from the handle. My clit is about 1 3/4" from my vaginal opening, and when I insert the shaft it naturally falls just below my clit. I'm able to tilt the handle up to make it reach. If your clit is located close to your vaginal opening, you should be able to tilt the handle down to make it work. The little flap is just large enough to cover my clit, so I wouldn't recommend the Vr4 to anyone whose clit is farther away than mine, unless you don't mind not using the clit stimulator.

For me, the clit portion is too close to be able to use another clit vibrator in instead. I prefer broader stimulation, and my favourite clit toys like Form 2 or MiMi are too wide to fit. Even with the smallest toy that I like, the We-Vibe Tango, there isn't enough room. The Vr4's arm is close enough that some skin gets pinched between it and the Tango when I press down. I have small labia and esssentially no clitoral hood, so it's not like there's much excess tissue to get pinched, but it still happens. To make it work I would either have to use a clit vibrator with a very tiny tip, which I wouldn't enjoy, or twist the Vr4's clit arm all the way to the crease where my thigh begins, which uncomfortably twists the internal portion of the toy as well.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The g-spot vibrations are really strong, earning 5 vrooms. This is the first time I've ever experienced vibrations being too strong for me internally. The vibrations start out deep and rumbly at a medium strength, and increase in frequency and power until they reach the highest level, which is medium in pitch and very powerful. On the highest setting, the vibrations become irritating and uncomfortable for me, and give my vagina an almost itchy feeling.

Unfortunately for me, the clit vibrations are nowhere near as strong. The clit vibrator is located in the handle of the toy, not in the clit stimulator, and the vibrations buzz my hand but don't carry well to the intended area. I'd give them 2 vrooms. They are buzzy and weak, and by themselves I get no stimulation or pleasure from these vibrations. When I turn on both motors, the g-spot vibrations carry into the clit arm a bit, which makes it feel stronger and deeper. I'd give the clit area a low 3 vrooms with both motors on high, but it still isn't close to enough for me.

The toy is very quiet, especially for the amount of power it has. I'd give each motor 1 vroom, and 2 when they're both turned on, outside the body. Once the g-spot portion is inserted, the body muffles the sound, taking it back down to 1 vroom. It definitely won't be heard through a door.

The toy is controlled by 2 buttons. They are easy to press, but don't get bumped accidentally. The upper one operates the g-spot motor, and the lower one controls the clit motor. There are no patterns, and you simply press and hold the button until you reach the desired power level. As you hold the button the light behind it will flash quickly as the speed increases, then glow steadily to let you know you're at the highest setting. To turn it off, just press the button. It's simple to use, but has a downside; there's no way to decrease the vibrations, so you have to turn the toy off and start over.

The controls can be locked for travel by holding both buttons down for 4 seconds. You can unlock it the same way, or by hooking it up to the charger.

The Vr4 is rechargeable. It takes about 3 hours to charge. A red light beneath the silicone on the back of the handle glows while the toy is charging, and turns off when it is fully charged. While I haven't actually timed my uses, I found a charge lasts through approximately 3 hours of use. Unlike some other luxury toys, there's no way to check the power level, and no low battery warning light, so the Vr4 will suddenly die during use.

Although the Vr4 has an open charging port, it is still waterproof. The hole is quite small, and it somehow manages to keep water out. I've read something about an air bubble forming to prevent water from getting inside... I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I can tell you that it does. I have submerged the Vr4 (which was a bit nerve-wracking at first!) and it still works perfectly.

Care and Maintenance

Since the Vr4 is silicone and completely waterproof, it's easy to keep clean. Just wash it with soap and water, or toy cleaner. If you'd like to sterilize it, you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution.

You can store the Vr4 in the included pouch. I just keep mine in my toy box. Silicone toys can be stored together, or along with other non-reactive toys, like those made from plastic, glass, or metal. You should keep other soft material like jelly or TPR stored separately, to prevent melting.

Silicone lubes can damage silicone toys, so it's best to stick to water-based. If you really want to use a silicone lube, make sure to do a spot test on the handle first, to check for a reaction.

Packaging

The Vanity toys come packaged in thin, white, cardboard boxes, which aren't up to the standards set by other luxury toy companies. The box isn't sturdy enough to work well for long-term storage.

The top is simple and discreet, with only the words Vanity by Jopen, Vr4 and a large purple V symbol. The bottom shows a picture of the toy and has some product information.

The Vr4 comes with a basic instruction manual, with information on all of the Vanity toys. There is also an extremely large storage pouch, made from thin black material. It's about 4 times the size it needs to be to fit the Vr4, so you can store some other things in here too, if you'd like.

Personal comments

Comparison to the Vr3

The Vr3's clit motor is definitely stronger than the Vr4's. I'd say the Vr3 is about twice as strong as the Vr4 in that area. The Vr3's clit stimulator still isn't very strong, in my opinion, but the Vr4 is so weak that it's not very hard to double the power.

The Vr4 has a stronger g-spot motor. If I had to put it into numbers, I'd say it's about 25% stronger than the Vr3's. It's not a huge difference, but it's definitely noticeable. I can't use the Vr4 on high comfortably, but I can use the Vr3 on high.

The Vr4's shape feels better to me. It's much more filling than the Vr3 and applies more pressure to my g-spot.

Thanks for the warning, I think I'd prefer if the bullet were located in the clit arm, or had a flicky projection like the Vr 4.5.

Yes thans for the warning. I would be upset if I paid 86$ and got no clit stimulation. I'm greedy I want clit stimulation.
