Material/Texture

Spirit is made of smooth, high quality silicone. This puts it at a 10 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale. Spirit is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. The silicone is very smooth everywhere except on the top of the toy where the button is located. Above the button is the charging port. The Leaf and Power Bullet Logo is in raised print on the wider end of the Spirit. There is a seam down the middle of the bottom of the toy. I detected no smell or taste to the toy right after cleaning it.






Design/Size/Shape

The Spirit is from the Leaf line of toys that are modeled to look like various leaves. It is almost the exact size of my middle finger and fits snuggly in the palm of my hand.




It also curves right over my mound. The Sprit is 2 ¾” long, 4 ¼” in circumference and 1 ¾” in diameter.

The tip of the vibe is small enough for pinpoint stimulation, while you hold it from the wider back end of the toy. It is a very small toy, that comes with a storage bag. Place the toy inside and slip this little guy into your purse or even a pocket.




Functions/Performance/Controls

To get started, it is recommended that you plug the adaptor into the leaf and allow it to charge for at least 3 hours before your first use. It has a locking feature so that it cannot be accidently turned on. All Leaf products are supposed to come from the factory locked. To lock/unlock your toy press the button down three times.

The Spirit only has one button. Press the button to turn the toy on, press and hold to turn the vibrations up in intensity, then simply press again to turn it off. There is no way to turn the intensity down once you have increased it except to turn the toy completely off and start again. To lock, press the button three times while turned off. To unlock, do the same.

The Spirit has no patterns, it goes from a low level to a high level vibration intensity. Vibrations are felt throughout the toy but originates from the middle of the toy. If you hold the toy in your hand the vibrations can be felt all over the toy. When you put any pressure on the toy, the vibrations move away from the tip and seem to be felt more in the center where the motor is located.



The Spirit is a waterproof toy. When submerged in water a small bubble will form over the charging port, thus keeping water from entering the hole.

Spirit is rechargeable and contains a lithium-polymer 100MAH 3.7V battery. It connects through a port in the middle of the toy. Charge time is two hours. When charging, you will see a light near the button. When charging is done, the light turns off. The maximum battery life on a two hour charge is one hour and fifteen minutes.


Care and Maintenance

Leaf products are very easy to care for. Wash the toy with a toy cleaner or other water based solution before and after each use then let Spirit dry naturally. The seamless design of the toy prevents harboring of bacteria that would normally grow in the nooks and crannies on toys.




Packaging

The Spirit comes in a small brown box. The front of the box says Leaf and Sprit. The back of the box has a picture of Spirit and the “eco friendly” nature of the toy as well as the box it arrived in. When you open the box the first thing you see is the instruction packet. It features the ABCs of using the Spirit as well as troubleshooting it in various languages. Upon lifting that out of the box you will find the Spirit, the charger and the pouch. Although there is a picture of the leaf on the back of the box, it is very discreet. The box is ideal for storage if you have the space. If you don’t have the space simply use the pouch to hold your toy.

Being a big fan of external vibes, I was very excited to order the Spirit. There were several reasons that had me leaning towards the Spirit. It was rechargeable, discreet, powerful and it was cute to look at.

The vibrations are very rumbly and not overly loud. If there were someone in the room with me they would be able to hear the Spirit but not through a closed door. This makes it ideal to use in situations where you're living with someone else other that you significant other. The vibrations will vibrate down you hand when you are holding it, but it didn't vibrate enough for my hand to go numb.

I have been looking for rechargeable toys because batteries can get very expensive.

The Spirit is small enough that you could hide it in the palm of your hand and no one would notice.

Even though the Spirit has a tendency to back off in power when you put pressure on it, it is still a wonderful toy to have in your toy box.
