The Birthstones bullet vibrator by Evolved Novelties is a small, discreet clitoral vibrator. It features strong vibrations that can be used to tease the clitoris, nipples, and other erogenous zones as well.

Birthstones is made from non-porous plastic, which ranks 8 on Eden's safety scale. It is hypoallergenic, and latex and phthalates free. It is perfectly smooth and glides over the skin well, even without lubricant. It has no taste or smell.

Birthstones is a slender bullet vibe that is 4" long with 3" insertable and a diameter of 5/8". It is made of white plastic with a colored band around the top of the battery cap and a matching gemstone at the bottom of the cap. It is available in 12 colors - one for each month (mine is February - purple with an amethyst). With so many options, you can choose your own birthstone or your favorite color. The stone on mine has 2 drilled holes on it, as if it were originally meant to be strung on jewelry, but it's only noticeable if you look for it. Otherwise, it's nice and shiny. The tip of the vibe comes to a fairly sharp point, providing amazing pinpoint stimulation for the clitoris. The plastic is very smooth and really doesn't need any lubricant to move smoothly. While it does have enough length for insertion, there isn't enough length or girth to provide any real stimulation. Do not insert this toy anally as there is no flared base, so it could easily become lost. The battery compartment features a nice, tight O-ring that prevents water from getting in, making this vibe completely waterproof.

This bullet only has one speed and one function, which is a fast, steady, powerful vibration that is amazingly quiet (4 vrooms, 2 bees). I've never had such an easy time achieving orgasm as with this vibe. If it were much more powerful, I don't think I would even be able to handle direct stimulation from it. A sound test proved that it can't really be heard through the covers and definitely can't be heard through a closed door. That is great, since I have roommates. The O-ring around the battery compartment works wonderfully. I have washed mine under running water and taken it into the shower many times, and I have never found a hint of moisture in the battery compartment. The vibe turns on by twisting the white dial at the end of the battery cap. It can accidentally be turned off sometimes, as it turns rather easily. Birthstones runs on a single AAA battery, which lasts surprisingly long. You'll know when the battery is getting weak, as the vibrations become much louder and somewhat sporadic.

Clean up is a breeze with Birthstones. Since it is non-porous plastic, simply wash it off with a mild antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner. Do not place this product in a dishwasher, and do not boil or bleach it. Store all plastic toys in a dark area, as plastic will eventually photo-degrade under sunlight. Remove the battery between uses to prolong battery life. As this toy is plastic, it is compatible with water, oil, and silicone-based lubricants.

Birthstones came in a clear plastic box the same height and width as the product. It featured small plastic bits with shallow depressions at either end to hold the toy in place. It is by no means discreet, and care should be taken when gifting it. The front of the box reads, "Evolved, Miss February." The back reads, "waterproof - multi speed - phthalates and latex free-silicone and water based lube friendly - 1 year warranty - requires 1 AAA battery-wash with Evolved toy cleaner." Beneath this is a link to the Evolved website. The product is fully visible from all angles, and pretty much anyone can tell what it is. You can use the box for storage, but it is a fairly brittle package.

This is my current favorite toy. It's pretty, powerful, and gets the job done. I have no complaints whatsoever.
