My Birthday Came a Little Early This Year

Birthstones was my first traditional style vibrating bullet. It is one of my favorite toys right now. I feel it's best used for stimulating the clitoral and erogenous areas of my body due to its size. It's VERY small, so I would be really careful if I tried inserting it into my vagina.

Birthstones vibrator is made of the typical hard plastic that many sexual vibrators are made out of. Because the toy is made of plastic, it has no smell or taste, so if you wanna suck on the toy there's no need to worry that it will taste nasty. I'd say the smooth texture is for everyone, as there is very little intimidation for beginners and it is enjoyable for advanced users as well.

Birthstones is designed to look like a miniature traditional vibrator. It is a lot smaller than my smallest traditional vibrator, which is 5 inches long, with 4 inches being insertable. Birthstones is about 3 inches of insertable length, which makes it very easy to hide in your purse, pocket, or pillow. It does have a little o ring in the base, which makes it waterproof. Size-wise, this is more for beginners, unless you like the small tease from shallow insertion.

I was kind of disappointed with the controls at first. It felt like this toy had only one setting and the dial base felt pretty cheap. However, after using it numerous times over the last couple of weeks, I've concluded that Birthstones does in fact have two speeds. You have to twist the dial a little further in order to get the higher speed.

The vibrations are located mostly in the tip of the toy, but are strong throughout its length. As far as noisiness goes, it can be heard through the covers if you have really good hearing. Birthstones is also waterproof, so you you can take it in the shower or bath with you, and you can also run water over it to wash it off when you're done.

Birthstones is made of a plastic material, which means any type of lubricant can be used with it without worry of damaging the toy. I prefer using either water-based lube or my own natural lube though, because of the easier cleanup. You can clean the toy with soap and warm water or with toy cleaner. I usually go with soap and water because it's cheaper in the long run.

The box the toy came in can be used for storage. Although it is clear, it does provide the toy some protection from dust and other nasty things.

The toy came in a clear plastic box. The only text on the packaging is advertisements of what the toy can do and the name of the toy. The packaging could be used as a storage box and can be given as a gift.
