Nice shaft movements and vibrations

The Sway is a wonderful toy that provides great dual stimulation of the G-spot and clitoris with strong vibrations, with the added bonus of a shaft that moves up and down to further stimulate the G-spot. If you've ever been curious about a rabbit with a bending shaft, I'd highly recommend giving the Sway a try!

First impression

I had tried Lelo's Ina Wave, and I was curious to compare Eden's version of a rabbit with a bending shaft. The Ina Wave is great, but the clit attachment is rather snug and inflexible for me, so I was hoping that the Sway might not dig into my clit so uncomfortably while still providing the wonderful G-spot-stimulating flex in the shaft. I'm glad I decided to give Sway a chance because it's a great toy!

The Sway arrived with several other purchases in Eden's usual nondescript brown shipping box. Those with privacy concerns can rest easy, as even the sender ("Web Merchants Inc.") won't give nosy neighbours or housemates any clue as to the true nature of what's contained inside your package. Inside this discreet shipping box and nestled in brown shipping paper was the box for the Sway, which was very nice. It has an outer sleeve that says the product's name with a little information, and this sleeve slips off to reveal a classy-looking plain black box that would work perfectly for discreet gifting or storage (if you have the space). Inside this box, the Sway was contained inside a molded plastic insert along with a black USB charging cable, some basic instructions, and a black mesh storage pouch. When I took Sway out of its box, I was immediately impressed with the wonderfully soft, velvety black silicone that covered it. The shaft of the toy is smooth except for a few ridges about midway down the top side of the shaft, which is where the toy bends. I was happy to find that the clit attachment was very flexible, unlike my Ina Wave.

As with most products I've ordered from Eden, the Sway arrived with a charge, so next I checked out the toy's functions. The Sway has three buttons on the handle, right beneath the base of the clit bunny attachment. The top button is the power button that turns the toy on and off with a quick push (no need to hold it down). A small, rather faint red light will come on right above the power button to indicate that the toy is powered on. The middle button (with a symbol that looks like a Y) controls the bending motion in the shaft. To turn on the shaft movement, you simply push the middle button quickly (again, no need to hold it down), and then you push it again to cycle through the various patterns of shaft movement. You can turn off the shaft motion without turning off the toy by holding down the middle button for a few seconds. The bottom button (with a squiggly line symbol) controls the vibration. Much like the shaft motion button, you turn on the vibrations by pushing the button quickly, and push it again to cycle through the various patterns of vibration, and you can turn off the vibrations by holding the button down for a few seconds. I really liked the controls on this toy. I liked that you had the option to use the shaft motion and vibration either separately or together, and that you could control the patterns on each totally independently. The toy also appears to have a memory function, so when you turn it off and back on, it will stay on the pattern selection it was on when you turned it off, which is a feature I really like.

All in all, the Sway looked like a very fun toy, and I was excited to give it a try!

First Use

In preparation for our first date, I charged my new Sway (even though most toys arrive at least partially charged, I still like to plug them in and make sure they're 100% charged up before use) and then took it off to the bathroom sink for a quick wash. As this toy is made from silicone (10/10 on Eden's safety scale, non-porous, hypoallergenic, and free from latex and phthalates), it's very easy to clean and care for. You can wash it with either a toy cleaner or a mild soap and warm water. Since the Sway is waterproof, you can wash it thoroughly without having to worry about water leaking into it and destroying it (you can also use it in the shower, bath, pool, or any other wet environment). Since this toy contains mechanical parts, you cannot sterilise it by boiling it or running it through the dishwasher (the heat would destroy the mechanics), but if you feel the need to sanitise it, you can wash it with either a 5-10% bleach solution or rubbing alcohol (just be sure to rinse thoroughly).

Once my new toy was charged and clean, I took it back to my bedroom and went through my usual ritual of putting a towel down on my bed and finding a sexy short story on my phone. At first, I just turned on the vibrations and used the head of the shaft to stimulate my clitoris and other external areas as I read my erotica. That felt great! The vibrations on the Sway are very nice. Not too buzzy, just the way I like it. It has three intensities of steady vibrations, plus several patterns. Eventually, I settled on the medium-intensity steady vibration setting for my masturbatory foreplay, which worked wonderfully. Before long, I was getting very wet and turned on, so I applied a small amount of water-based lube (as this toy is silicone, you're going to want to stick to water-based lubes and avoid lubricants that are oil or silicone-based, as these can potentially degrade the material of the toy) and then gently slid the shaft into my vagina. It went in easily and comfortably. I just enjoyed the vibrations for a few minutes, fiddling with the settings until I found a quickly-pulsating pattern that I liked. The clit attachment wasn't the best fit with my anatomy, but with a little adjustment, I managed to get the toy situated, so it was hitting all the right spots. Then I turned on the shaft motion. It felt awesome! Each time the shaft bent upwards, it made the vibrating head of the toy dig into my G-spot, all while the quivering clit bunny stimulated my clitoris. It felt really, really good. I did find myself wishing that the shaft bent upwards at a slightly sharper angle, so it dug into my G-spot a little more, but eventually, I got it angled just right to provide the level of G-spot stimulation I like, and before long, I enjoyed a wonderful orgasm. My first date with the Sway was a definite success!

Further Experience

I've continued to really enjoy the Sway. I do wish that the clit attachment fit my anatomy a little better; as with most eared clit attachments, the ears overshoot my clitoris considerably, and I have to kind of hold the attachment down to keep it in contact with my clit during use, but I can make it work. I also still wish that the shaft movement was a little more pronounced. I have to angle it pretty sharply in order to get it to really dig into my G-spot the way I like. However, once again, I can make it work without too much effort, and when I get everything situated just right, the level of stimulation this toy provides is pretty awesome. I can get some amazing orgasms with this toy.

I've found that this toy works really well for me in the shower. I don't masturbate in the shower all that often, but this has become one of my favourite rabbits to use when I do decide I want to play in the shower. I find that I don't have to angle it as sharply when I'm standing up, and I like how I can use just the vibrations on the head to get myself aroused enough to insert the shaft without any extra lube (which is kind of important in the shower, since the water tends to wash away water-based lube).

Vibration Map

The clit attachment and the head of the shaft both vibrate quite strongly. I think the vibrations in the clit attachment might be slightly stronger than the head of the shaft, so I'm marking the clit bunny as a 3 and the head of the shaft as a 2, but just know that both provide nice strong vibrations. And of course, the head of the shaft moves up and down, but since that's not actual vibration, I can't really mark that on the map. There's some mild vibration in the middle of the shaft, and a little bit of vibration can be felt in the handle part (but I ran out of numbers for that).
  • Very mild, low level vibration
  • Moderate vibration
  • Strong and easily felt vibration

Orgasm Intensity

I've had some wonderfully intense orgasms with this toy. It takes me a little effort to get everything situated so it's hitting all the right spots the way I like, but once I get it there, it's a hell of a ride.
Follow-up commentary
I still really enjoy the Sway. I do still wish that it bent upwards a little more sharply, and/or that the head was more bulbous, so it dug into the G-spot a little more, but I can achieve the level of stimulation I like by angling it upwards more, so it's still workable. The vibes are great, and I love the flexibility of the clit attachment. Sway is still a great rabbit!
