When I first saw it, it reminded me of the head of a dinosaur. My partner laughed as I went "Grrr" and made motions as if it was attacking her over and over again. So I handed it to her to play with and see what it was capable of.

It comes with a funny little battery and a charger. When it arrived, the battery was ready to go, but it took my partner and I awhile to figure that out because there was a clear wrapper fitted around the battery that prevents it from making the toy work. I felt really silly when I realized I had overlooked it. It only takes about four hours to charge it. A full charge lasts a about an hour depending on which settings are used the longest. On low it will last a full hour. Higher settings last about 45 minutes.

Before using the toy it got a thorough cleaning. It is made of silicone and plastic. Silicone repels dirt and bacteria. It can also be boiled for up to three minutes or put in the dishwasher to disinfect it. Plastic is cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water or isopropyl alcohol.

Once we got it running, we realized there was something very silly and slightly annoying about this toy. The first setting was high. Then it went down to medium and low, in that order. There are only two buttons. One to turn it on and off and another that cycles through all of the settings. There is no going back. The first three settings of my toy are pretty much ignored because it's not fun going through all of the settings to get from low to medium and then going through all of the settings again to get from medium to high. I probably just got a weird toy though. Out of the ten settings, those were the only three out of order. There was lots of variety with settings that escalate and pulsate in various patterns and intensities.

This toy isn't limited to the bedroom! It is completely waterproof; bath time, here we come!!!!
