Nipple ring - nipple jewelry by Cal Exotics - review by Laccaria

These non-piercing Nipple Rings are a fun little item for almost anyone who enjoys nipple play during sex (or any other time). At about an inch in diameter, they are not quite the delicate little ring that I was hoping for when I originally ordered them, but they are not a bad little toy. Since they are so much bigger than any pierced nipple ring I have ever encountered, they don’t really give the impression of a piercing, but they certainly do draw your lover’s attention to your nipples!

Personally, I think the best thing about these Nipple Rings is that they are really quite adjustable. Straight out of the package my set killed my nipples. My god, did they hurt. They were very tight, and since these rings apply pressure to a very small surface area, the sensation was very, very intense.

Now I happen to like a little nipple pain, so I wasn’t too distraught about this. Still, I could only keep them on for a few minutes at a time, and I had purchased them with the intention of wearing them out of the house as a naughty secret between my lover and myself. So I forced them open extra wide a few times and tried again. I found that with a little trial and error I could get a very light pressure that really didn’t hurt my nipples at all.

I was also really pleased to discover that I could also go backwards and increase the pressure after stretching them out. By squeezing the side of the ring together so that the balls on the ends slid past each other, I could increase the bite from the rings.

Be aware, though, that even with light pressure the sensation can build over time, so wearing these rings for a few hours can really start to make your nipple sensitive and/or sore. Of course, you might agree with me that there is something highly erotic about being extremely sensitive to your lover’s touch!

Either way you should know that because the rings and the balls on the rings are not tiny, they can be somewhat tricky to cover up under light clothing. If you wear anything tight or filmy or clingy people will likely to be able to see the double bumps of your nipple and the little ball on the ring. I do, however, find that most of my bras do a decent job of keeping the rings out of sight.

Overall, this toy is fun, but it’s far from the highest quality piece in my collection. I expect that the bending and stretching that I do to achieve the amount of pressure I want is going to wear these little nipple rings out sooner rather than later, but so far I’ve enjoyed having them for occasional use.

Edited to add:
I have been asked if these Nipple Rings would work for larger nipples. I didn't comment on this in the original review because I don't have particularly large nipples, and thus don't really feel qualified to comment on the subject. That being said, I just tested the rings on my index finger and found that they could be bent to comfortably accommodate the tip of my averagish, female index finger.

My overall impression is that these rings can fit any size nipple at a wide variety of intensities depending on how you bend them. And even better, you can go back and forth from extremely tight to very loose. I've never quite been able to bend them back to the original intensity, but I've never really been sad about that either.
