At first glance these rings look harmless, but looks are so deceiving!

The first challenge I had with the Nipple Bull Rings by California Exotics was the amount of tension and force required to open the ring. The metal is thin but very strong, as you have to try and grip both sides to pull them apart. I have large nipples and I had a very difficult time getting the ring in place behind my nipple (close to the areola) and not on the nipple.

Applying the bull rings was a true learning experience. If you are using these solo and you have large nipples, you may find it easier to lean forward and allow your nipples to hang. After that, position the first ball behind the nipple. It is also very difficult to see the alignment of the balls with large nipples so I recommend putting these on in front of a mirror. Remember, once you release the ring, it’s there. You can’t adjust or reposition it unless you take the ring off and start over.

Now let's talk about when the rings went on... I enjoy nipple torture, and it takes a lot to bring tears to my eyes. When I put the first ring on, I had instant tears because the pressure and tension was so tight. I have done all of the nipple clamps—ranging from wooden clothes pins to vices and Japanese Clover clamps; NONE of those remotely compare to the intense pain that I felt from the Nipple Bull Rings. The pain was so intense that it took me two separate attempts to keep both rings long enough for me to write my review. To give you an idea of how intense they are, I had to remove the first ring within seconds. Bull rings are DEFINITELY not for the new or beginner user!

Removing the rings is an experience in itself. Once again; you have to grasp both sides of the ring, pull it open, and almost slide the nipple out. As I removed the rings, I kept thinking about how nice it would feel if my nipple was in my partner’s mouth as the ring was removed.

Almost 24 hours later my nipples are still so sore that I can't wear a bra, but I have to admit that I do like the feeling. It almost reminds me of how my nipples felt the first time I started solo nipple torture and play.

I am going to rate this product in three different areas: ease of use, appearance, and feeling. For ease of use, because the rings are so difficult to open, I can only give this product a 2 star rating. Once the rings are on, they do create an illusion of a pierced nipple-- which can be great if you want to have the illusion of a piercing without making a lifetime commitment to getting pierced. On the scale of appearance, this product gets 5 stars.

Finally, since my nipples are clipped, clamped, and tied almost daily, my tolerance to device intensity is very strong. I honestly didn't think that there were any nipple toys on the market that could deliver that "off the chart intensity," especially at the solo play level, but, these REALLY deliver! For feeling, I have to give these a PERFECT 5 STAR rating because ANY toy that has me still feeling its remnants the next day is a WINNER with me!
