Jenna's Velvet Jewels by Doc Johnson is slender and silky. This tiny waterproof vibrator was built for clitoral stimulation. Being only 4" in total length, it doesn't allow for much grip for internal usage. I do not recommend this toy anally due to its shortness and no flared base.

For such a small toy it has amazing power. But like they say – great things come in small packages. That's exactly how I feel about this vibrator. Both the power and speed is controlled by turning the very base. You have the option of either low or high. The low speed has a soft buzzing and grows slightly louder as you reach the highest intensity.


This toy would make a great beginners vibrator due to its petite size – it's not intrusive or intimidating. Nor does it resemble a penis in any way. With that said, it's also a great toy for those who have plenty of experience in the self-pleasure department but are looking for something discreet that can be taken anywhere. Some may not find this quite powerful enough to get the job done. I usually enjoy the very powerful tiny bullets but this was still able to make me orgasm with little effort.


The velvety/silky feeling firm plastic is very easy to clean with anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner. It is also waterproof which can make baths or showers more interesting. The Velvet Jewels doesn't require any specific treatment or housing to keep it in pristine condition. It also doesn't seem to attract lint which I always find a desirable feature.


Jenna's Jewels came in a very basic plastic packaging with no instructions. The packaging is simple, resealable and could be kept to store your new toy. I personally found it more of a nuisance and took up too much room for packaging that isn't necessary.


Being food grade plastic I didn't find this toy had any nasty chemical smells at all. It's also phthalates, hypo-allergenic and latex free. Because Jenna's Jewels is plastic, it allows for either water based or silicone lubricant to be used if needed.


I was given the black one by EdenFantasys which looks quite striking with the two rows of sparkling gems set into the battery cap. This also comes in a soft pink. The gems seem to be fixed in place quite well. I have given them the rub test as I was a little concerned that they would fall out with little ease. I'm happy to say I have had no issues at all so far.


This little vibrator requires 1 AA battery and much to my disappointment, won't accept rechargeables. But I have only tried Energizers at this stage.


Jenna's Velvet Jewels definitely has enough intensity for me to orgasm. I find I'm enjoying it more with each use and am surprised it is quickly becoming one of my favorite mini toys.


Overall, I'm very grateful I accepted the offer on this vibrator and would highly recommend it to others looking for a discreet toy. I've even gone so far as to consider buying a pink one so this little guy can live in my handbag for those out and about cravings! It's quiet and small enough to enjoy almost anywhere. This toy won't be heard through a closed door or over the TV.

Although this little one doesn't get used all that often now that my variety in toys has grown greatly, I still do enjoy it from time to time. Because it won't accept rechargeable batteries and due to my laziness of not taking the battery out after each use, I'm very thankful it's not a drainer.
I'm still on the very first battery I inserted.
