Jenna's Velvet Jewels by Doc Johnson is a powerful little vibrator with a sleek and discreet look. This waterproof toy exceeded my expectations in the power department. The low speed was less than desirable, but the high speed was a very strong steady vibe.

I bought this to take on vacation the last few weeks, and I'm glad it's waterproof! It was noisy enough that I didn't feel comfortable in the hotel room with the T.V. off using it. I was paranoid that I was bothering the people next door, or worse yet- wake up the kids sleeping in the next room! I used it in the bath tub, and it was great. Very powerful, and the water cut down on some of the noise.

This toy is great for clitoral stimulation, but it's too small for insertion. I couldn't orgasm using this toy. I personally like clitoral stimulation around the area, not directly. This wasn't really doing it for me. It is too slim to provide stimulation around my clit from all sides. The high setting was too hard for me to be directly on my clit. The low setting doesn't do anything for me because it is so low, and there isn't any in-between speed.

This is a great toy for beginners and advanced users alike. The smooth, simple design and easy to use controls are perfect for beginners. The intensity of the vibe is great for advanced users who like a very hard centered vibe.

Jenna's Velvet Jewels is made out of plastic. This isn't the hard and shiny plastic. It is really smooth and doesn't pull on your skin at all. It almost feels like a smooth silicone. Out of the package there wasn't any odor whatsoever.

There is no texture on this toy, but because of how powerful the vibe is I would say it's worth it for everyone-beginner's and advanced to give it a shot!

Jenna's Velvet Jewels is 4" long, slim and flares out along the shaft. It is smooth, and true to its name- feels velvety. Even being flared the widest point in the vibe is less than the width of a quarter. The cap is set with rhinestones and one of mine has already fallen off. It didn't even leave a mark on the plastic where it was attached, I'm not too worried about it though. It has a nice sleek look with or without the rhinestones.

This is an easy toy to tuck away in your purse or carry on bag for travel. I have it in black, and it could easily be mistaken for a tube of mascara.

This vibe doesn't have a lot to offer advanced users who are looking for more textured stimulation. It is so smooth that it doesn't add anything extra or special to the experience. If you are only concerned with the intensity of the vibe then you have got to try this one out.

Jenna's Velvet Jewels takes 1-AA battery to use, and the battery is a really tight fit in the compartment. The cap is a little hard to get on straight to screw on tightly. The pressure from pushing the battery down into the compartment keeps it from screwing on easily and smoothly. The controls on this vibe are easy to use. You just twist the cap to your desired vibration, and you're set! The cap isn't an easy twist. When you are playing you don't have to worry about accidentally knocking the settings or turning it off.

There are only two speeds on this vibe. There is a low and slow steady vibration, and a faster harder steady vibration. The vibration is centered in the tip of the vibrator. I was pleasantly surprised by how strong and intense the vibration was on the high speed. I didn't think that little thing could do so much for me. The vibration is strong enough that you can feel it down the entire length of the vibrator.

The one downfall to this toy is the noise. I took it with us to play with on vacation, and it was pretty loud. On the high speed it was a high pitched buzzing sound which wasn't TOO bad. On the lower speed it was more of a rattling sound and to me it seemed louder than when using it on high speed.

This toy is waterproof, and when I used it in the bathtub it didn't seem to lose any power. It's also not as loud under the water either which is a plus!

Jenna's Velvet Jewels doesn't come with any type of storage case. It's so small though, that you don't have to worry about it. I keep mine tucked in my top dresser drawer. It looks exactly like a tube of lipstick or mascara, and it's got a very sleek and discreet design.

Very easy clean up. Anti-bacterial soap and water. It can be used with water, oil, and silicone lubricants. Since the toy is small, using lube made it a bit harder to hold onto, but it wasn't bad enough to be taking away from the experience.

Jenna's Velvet Jewels came in an easy open clear plastic sleeve. The only instructions included are that on the back of the cardboard insert. The cardboard insert is pretty plain, not flashy or bright at all. Compared to the size of the toy, the packaging is quite large. The plastic sleeve is twice as long as the toy itself, and is about an inch wider on each side of the toy. It does not include any kind of storage bag.
