Vertical stripe panythose - hosiery by Leg Avenue - review by spookycutie

I've been looking at these and similar tights for a long time, so when I had some points saved up, I decided to give them a go. I'm so glad I did. These are AWESOME for a girl like me with chunky legs and thighs - the vertical stripes really help elongate and slim me out. Woohoo!

I wish Eden carried these in a black and white opaque version, too...Do you hear me, Eden?

Packaging: The packaging for these was cute as can be, as it is with most Leg Avenue items I've ever encountered. I love that the box had matching vertical stripes on it, and the little heart cutout was a nice touch - 5 stars for the packaging!


Appearance: These pantyhose look exactly as pictured in the stock photo - another 5 star thing! I know everybody hates getting something in the mail that looks nothing like what you ordered (see my Spiderweb bodystocking review...ahem.)

Quality: These tights arrived in perfect condition, and I'm hoping they'll stay that way. I put them on and take them off very gently, as I do with any hosiery, and there are no runs yet...but I feel like that could happen somewhat easily. These don't feel cheap or poor quality, but they don't feel excellent, either. I'm afraid their lifespan may not be super long, but this really is probably because the light stripes of these are VERY thin. Like, when I'm wearing these, it almost doesn't even feel like there's a layer of fabric on my leg over the lighter parts.

Size/Fit/Feel: The thinness of the material makes these super comfortable, which is awesome...way too many stockings and tights are itchy or scratchy, but these feel smooth and nice over my legs. I'm about 5'7" with short legs, so these being too short was not at all a problem. These have enough stretch to comfortably fit over my giant, monstrous, thunder thighs without leaving red marks or irritating my skin. That's a big plus, because that's a RARE find for me! I typically have to buy tights in plus size to get them to stay opaque on me, and while these got a little bit stretched at the top, they stayed true black. - score! That seriously NEVER happens!

I've worn these quite a few times since my initial review---I just love them! The only part is finding something to wear with them - to me, they don't "go" with a whole lot. Other than that, perfect!
