Such a Shame That Unity Was Discontinued!

The Unity is great. It definitely packs a punch and is very fun to use. Its 16 different combinations will keep anyone from getting bored. The packaging is fantastic. Evolved definitely did a great job making this one in my opinion. Unfortunately, it seems it is getting discontinued on this site but I did find it is available on other sites if you want to give it a try. I definitely think you wont be disappointed!

Use

Unity is a vibrator made for g-spot play and clitoral stimulation. It has two separate vibrating ends, each which has a separate motor. One end vibrates in patterns and the other is just your basic vibrations at different intensities. I imagine it could be used for both partners, especially females if you both wanted to play together at the same time with the same toy. Personally, this is not how I used it but it definitely sounds like fun! This toy is, of course, great for solo play as well. It can be used in the shower, bath, or other source of water. As far as anal is concerned, due to the size, I do not think men would have a problem with it since it is so large. Just keep in mind it has no flared base to keep it from getting lost.

Material / Texture

This particular toy is made of satiny silicone. It is smooth to the touch. The controls are made of silicone as well. There are no seams on this item. The "Unity" is not very flexible at all. It is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, waterproof, and phthalates free. When holding up to my nose, I did not notice any smell and there is no taste. The raised bumps throughout the shaft allow for lots of added texture. I recommend this toy for both beginners and more advanced users. Beginners, keep in mind this is a larger toy, so it may be a bit much for you.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the design of this particular vibrator. It curves just slightly at one end and is straight at the other end. Throughout the shaft, there are raised bumps allowing for extra textured play. Unity measures around 10 inches long and approximately 4 3/4 inches at the widest bump. This toy is definitely not discreet, since it is quite obvious what it is if it is out in the open. I think traveling with this item shouldn't be a problem but I do recommend taking out the batteries if you are traveling without the box it came in. This will keep the buttons from accidentally being pushed and turning on in your bag. Of course with traveling, this would have to be put in a larger bag or a suitcase, for it would probably be too big for a small or average-sized purse.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This particular vibrator comes with 16 different combinations of speed and intensity. There are 2 silicone buttons which control both your patterns and your speed and intensity. On the shorter non-curved end is where you find these buttons. The top button is for the mode selection and it has several you can choose from. These are pretty strong and can be felt on both ends. The lower button controls the curved end of the vibrator. There are several options of speed and intensity; these cannot really be felt on the upper half as much. This toy is a little noisy but not so much that you should be able to hear through a closed door. It is waterproof as well, so feel free to use it in the shower or other places with water. One downside to this vibrator is it takes four AAA batteries. To insert the batteries, you simply turn the middle of the vibrator until it comes apart and then place two batteries on each side.

    • Easy to use
    • Multiple settings
    • Strong patterns

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning this toy is fairly simply. Since it is silicone, I recommend only using water-based cleaners on it. A 10% bleach and water combination, a toy wipe, or simple anti-bacterial soap and water will do the trick. As far as lubes, always use water-based or oil-based lubes. Silicone-based lubes can break down the silicone coating and cause damage to your toy. Storing is simple; I just put it back in the beautiful metal case it came in and store it on the shelf in my closet away from nosy eyes!

Packaging

I absolutely loved the packaging this came in. It comes in a white, black and red metal storage box. On the front of the case, there is a see-thru window showing your item laying all comfortably in a red and grey foam holder. It has the Evolved logo, "love is back", and also "waterproof unity". On the front bottom, it says this is part of the Fusion Edition. On the sides it says it's waterproof, has sixteen combinations, and is phthalates-free, plus the Evolved Logo again and website address. The bottom and top of the case have a pattern with stars. On the back of the case, it talks about the product and states it was made in China. When opening the case, the cover doesn't come off; it just opens. Inside the case is a foam cut-out holding the Unity nicely in its place and also battery installing information. There is no paperwork along with this item but honestly I do not think it really needs it.

    • Good for storage
    • Not discreet
    • Would make a nice gift

Personal comments

This toy is just awesome in my book. I love the size and the packaging. I definitely think Evolved took some time to make this a first-class item. If I knew any of my friends used toys, I definitely would have considered buying them one for a gift. The only complaint I really have is the four batteries; I mean really, was two not enough?

Experience

I loved this toy. I had lots of fun using this on myself and I look forward to allowing my boyfriend to use it on me as well. It works great and with all the different combinations of vibrations, it definitely keeps you from getting bored. Luckily, I got this on clearance for well under $20, so I definitely feel this was a great buy for myself. I hope this toy holds up and I definitely plan on using it for many years to come. Give it a try if you haven't already; I think you will be pleased!
Follow-up commentary
I still like this toy as much as I did on day 1. It has become a wonderful addition to my collection. :)
