First time softee teaser - g-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by ~LaUr3n~

Normally, toys of this price are made of hard lifeless plastic or a smelly jelly or rubber sleeve. It's awesome to be able to find a toy that has a textured and supple sleeve of a nice TPE material. The First Time Softee Teaser is an excellent introductory toy because of its affordable price and dual function design. The curve is great for the g-spot and the soft textured head of nubs is awesome for clitoral stimulation too. The vibrator is also easy to use, take care of, and operate. It's a true great find for the price.

MATERIAL/TEXTURE:

Available in two colors: baby pink and baby purple.

The First Time Softee Teaser is made of two materials. The body of the vibrator is made of a non-porous plastic. The rest of the vibrator is made of TPE which makes up the sleeve. TPE is a 6 on Eden's material safety scale. It's very flexible, supple, and soft. It can look and feel a lot like jelly, but is a lot more resilient and a lot less smelly. There is a slight smell to the material, but it smells clean, not nasty. TPE is also not usually as sticky as jelly, but it does still have a lot of drag. It will pick up lint and other grime so I recommend rinsing it before use. It is a relatively safe material due to being hypo-allergenic and free of both latex and phthalates. However, the material cannot be sterilized so a condom should be used if you want to share.

DESIGN/SIZE:

The toy is of a very moderate size. Its total length is 6 1/8". The insertable length is about 5". For a vibrator of this size, I consider that pretty decent. The controls don't take up a lot of the length. The top curve is about 2" long. Right below it, it is about 1 3/8" in diameter, roughly 4" around. The middle of the shaft is the thinnest at only 7/8" in diameter, about 2 2/7" in circumference. The base of the insertable shaft is 1 1/4" wide, about 3 3/4" around.

The head has dozens of raised nubs for texture externally and internally. They are soft and flexible. Don't be afraid of these hurting you! I am sensitive to texture and these are lovely. The curve to the head provides a large surface area to use on the vulva, clit, nipples, external anal area, or other sensitive areas like the underside of the penis or the head. They are also good for internal pleasure and teasing of the g-spot. The shaft of the vibrator has raised swirls for added stimulation, but I didn't feel these during use.



The bottom unscrews so that two AAA batteries can be inserted in it. There is a waterproof o-ring for a seal. Take this vibrator to the tub or shower!

This toy isn't discreet since it has an obvious design, but since it isn't huge, it's not terribly hard to hide.

FUNCTIONS/CONTROLS:

To control the power, the bottom dial simply needs to be turned. It truly has no set speeds and does gradually increase as the dial is turned. Usually with a vibrator of this price, their claim of gradual speed increase proves false. The lowest level is so low that it can barely be felt through the supple TPE material. At this level, the area with the strongest vibrations is the shaft. But as you increase the vibrations, they get stronger near the head. The vibrations are not deeply rumbly, but I wouldn't describe them as buzzy either. The thick and plush material cushions any painful or annoying buzziness the vibrations might have. I would consider the vibrations to be about average on the highest level. They are not intense at all. The noise level isn't bad until you get about two-thirds of the way through the dial. At this point the noise jumps as do the vibrations. It might be able to be heard through a door if it is not in contact with the body.

I think this vibrator is one of the best I have found for the price in a long time! The material is excellent! It has a certain realism to it that rubber and jelly totally lack. Externally this toy is as much of a treat as it is internally. The nubs are awesome! They look a bit intimidating, but the softness of the material will surprise you. I enjoy using this toy shallowly to hit my g=spot or externally on my clit. The material does muffle the vibrations a bit so it isn't a toy that can bring me to a lighting fast orgasm, but it is still very enjoyable and excellent for the price.

CARE/CLEANING:

To care for this material, use mild soap and warm water. Remember that it cannot be sterilized. Thankfully, use can use any kind of lubricant with this material. I have found that silicone lasts longer with this particular toy. It also needs a good rinse before use even if you keep it in the package, dust can creep in there. When storing it, place it in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Also do not place it next to toys of similar materials.

PACKAGING:

I am happy to report that the packaging is small. It doesn't use much excess plastic waste. It's also recyclable, but it's useful for storage. It comes in a plastic clam shell that clearly shows the toy, so it is not discreet. The front has a picture of a females face and text with the name and short description. The back has a little more details and company website information.

PERSONAL COMMENTS:

The sleeve is removable! You can remove it and have an even more powerful feeling vibrator for times when you need it. Since most sleeves are flexible, you can also replace this sleeve with another.

This is still one of the best inexpensive vibrators that I have found so far. I intend to continue using it and keep it until the material starts to fail. At that point, it might be worth it to take off the sleeve, but I'll probably just ditch it. For now, it looks and works as good as new.
