The Best Cheap Vibrator Ever

For under $15, you're not going to find a better vibe than this: super strong, waterproof, and beautifully shaped. It may not be the best choice if you need something quiet and discreet, but for its price, it's pretty damn good.

extremely useful review
I bought this vibrator because Epiphora wrote a love letter to it on her blog. "How could a vibe under $20 be so amazing?" I thought. I was skeptical. But there was no reason for me to doubt the Turbo Glider - it is every bit as good as Epiphora promised it would be.

Let it be said that I am usually a high-end vibrator kind of girl. I have three Lelo vibes, with the Mona being my all-time favorite. But honestly... I love the Turbo Glider. Maybe not as much as I love my Mona, but it's damn close.

The Glider is made of hard plastic - nonporous, easy to clean, tasteless, odorless, and deliciously unrelenting when applying pressure to my clit. It comes in a charming turquoise-blue color called "blueberry bliss." It's a smaller penetrative vibrator, probably slender enough to fit most women comfortably. Its shape boasts a few delicious-looking ribs that are made to stimulate the G-spot and vaginal walls. It has a long handle that's easy to grip, which I did, a lot, as I rubbed the toy up and down against myself while approaching a thunderous orgasm.

This is probably the strongest vibrator you can get for the price. The little motor (which you can see spinning around through the toy's translucent body) works hard and gets the job done. At its lowest setting, the Turbo Glider is still stronger than many cheap toys' highest settings. It's the type of vibration that makes you go, "Hmm, that's kind of - OH HOLY SHIT I'M GONNA COME." This strength means that it runs through its two AA batteries faster than some vibrator users may be used to, which will be a downside for some.

The Glider has a little bulb on the end of it which seems perfect for pinpoint clitoral stimulation. I'm not really a fan of that feeling, though, so I just lie the toy's shaft between my labia so it makes contact with more of my skin. This, combined with moving the toy up and down slightly, is veeeery stimulating and gets me off very quickly.

I didn't find the toy all that pleasing for internal use, despite the fact that that seems to be what it's made for. The ridges are nice-ish, but the toy isn't wide enough to really stroke my G-spot. It would be nice if it had a bit more of a curve or was thicker. Plus, this toy is so great for clitoral stimulation that I prefer to use it for that, while using a thick, rippled or curved dildo internally.

Because this toy is thin and easy to hold, it can be used with ease during intercourse. Some might find it too large for that purpose, but I prefer to have something I can firmly hold onto, that won't slip out of my hand.

Best of all, it's WATERPROOF. I think the Turbo Glider will be my new bathtime bestie!

The most obvious downside to this toy is that it's loud-ish. The reviews here on EF led me to believe that it would be somewhat akin to a jackhammer in noise output, but it really isn't. If you've got the door closed, it's unlikely that anyone on the other side will be able to hear it. If you share a room with someone, however, the noise might be an issue.
Follow-up commentary
This is still possibly the strongest vibe I own, despite how big my collection has gotten. It's my go-to when I need to get off and another vibe fails me. It's also really cute and makes me happy just to look at it.

Great review. Sounds great if it compares favorably to Lelo.

I have a similar toy, and yeah, the motor is a workhorse for what it does.

Great review! I'm becoming interested in this one now! Lol. It sure sounds fantastic. I hate that it's hard plastic I'm a grinder so that makes it tough. I love the bulbous end though! Those never fail me when it comes to G-spotting! I might just have to try this anyway. Thanks for sharing! I love your enthusiasm.
