Ben Wa Balls are supposed to make you tighter, by adding some weight to your pelvic floor and forcing you to constantly do your kegels to hold them in. Many woman also note orgasms, just by walking around while using a pair of these. Orgasms, Kegel Reminders, Tighter Vagina...sounds great!

These are only for vaginal use, do not try to use these anally. Unlike the vagina, things CAN get stuck in an anus, and the last thing you want to be doing is explaining why you have little butterflies up your ass to the doctor at the ER.

These Ben Wa Balls are made of smooth non porous pyrex glass, which has no smell or taste. The hearts inside of them are visually appealing, but don't move or enhance the toy in any viable way.

These balls are VERY light, and therefore, can not be easily felt inside the body.

These balls are about 1" in diameter and are clear. You can get them with either a purple butterfly shape or a pink heart shape inside of them. I got the pink hearts, but ordered the purple butterflies, no big deal since nobody was going to see them...ever.

The idea of Ben Wa Balls are to strengthen your PC muscles and tighten you up, basically force you to do kegels so the balls don't fall out while you are walking around with them in. Usually Ben Wa Balls have something inside of them that move, making the exercise stronger. While these do have the heart or butterfly in them, they serve no purpose other than to make them look cute, since they don't move.

These are small, so should be used by more advanced users, since smaller balls usually fall out easier, forcing you to hold onto them tighter. Unfortunately, I can not recommend these to new or advanced users, simply because they did not work for me.

I have heard of people using these while being penetrated by their partner, but I did not try that, because since they are glass, I was worried that they would pinch his penis, while at the same time bruising my cervix.

While these came with no instructions on how to use them, I figured they were pretty self-explanatory. You take the balls and put them in your vagina, then stand up and try to walk around while holding them in. It is supposed to be this huge accomplishment if you can do it. I don't believe that, since I was able to do just that, with no effort. I inserted the balls and they immediately sucked themselves to the back of my vaginal cavity, and there they stayed. They didn't move, they didn't fall, they were just kind of sitting there between my back and my cervix. I was able to do jumping jacks and not have the move. Not only did they not move, but I received no sexual stimulation, let alone orgasm. I have had six children, I will be the first to admit that I am not tight, so there should have had to have been some effort used to keep these in, but that just wasn't the case. With that being said, I also could not move them down by using my muscles, I had to scoop them out with my fingers.

Being pyrex glass, these balls are easy to clean, you can wash them off with soap and water, boil them, put them in the dishwasher, or use a 10% Bleach Solution. I store mine in a small velvety pouch, since my kids got a hold of the heart shaped tin they came in and broke it, however, I would have preferred to keep them in that, it was perfect for them, and easily hidden. I doubt any lubes would be needed with this toy, but being glass, there are no limits, and you are free to use whatever your favorites are, it will not damage the material.
