Think Pink

Some days I have sex on the brain and my bits want to snooze. This arousal gel actually works the way products of its ilk are supposed to; providing a tingly plumping sensation that lasts.

Use

This clitoral arousal gel is great for those days when I'm feeling it but my body isn't responding. I really enjoy using a generous amount of Tickle Her Pink before vaginal intercourse, especially during missionary--I find I can come a lot more quickly and without the use of manual clit stimulation.

I'd never use this for anywhere but the clit and perhaps nipples. I'm not super sensitive but this gel gives a very strong tingly sensation that would be uncomfortable used internally.

I've tried plenty of arousal lubes and potions; most of these products simply don't work as stated. Many simply provide a cooling or warming feel that dissipates after a few minutes. Tickle Her Pink, on the other hand, actually seems to sensitize my clit and lasts about half an hour.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This is quite a thin, clear gel. My only gripe is it tends to slip off of your finger before you get the chance to apply it. This can be solved with a little help from a friend. In use, it is quite slippery and slick. For masturbation purposes, I still needed some saliva/lube. I could have just used some more of the Tickle Her Pink, but I didn't want to waste it and I like a lot of wetness on my clit. The tube squeezes out fairly quickly because the cap is on the bottom and I have it standing on my bedside table. This stuff does tend to run/drip down a little, and after having some rough sex (thus creating microtears) the day before, it stung when the tingly gel dripped down from my clit to my bits. It didn't, however, become so runny that it collected in my butt crack like some lubes and such tend to do. After use, it is a wee sticky on my fingers and clitoral area, but I don't feel the urge to jump into the shower right away.

Taste / Aroma

While it's not marketed as an edible item, it smells and tastes just a hint minty without being overwhelming at all. With the small amount needed to produce the desired effect, the taste isn't very powerful or off-putting. I find it to be fairly neutral in both scent and flavour, which I feel is a good thing when it comes to lubes. My partners and I enjoy products that don't obscure the natural tastes and smells of each other.

My partner didn't notice any flavour or sensation during oral after I applied the product, which garners huge points for me as I like to switch between vaginal and oral sex often.

Performance

I've always had problems with arousal gels because they'd get sticky or my body would get used to the sensation within minutes. The ones in the tiny tubes were always the worst culprits--and the most expensive. This product is generously-sized and I still only need less than a pinky fingertip's worth to do the trick. I predict the tube will last me months with regular use.

I love that it is latex-compatible, contains no glycerin, and is compatible with toys--I don't have to worry about where, when, or what I use it on. It washes off easily with just water and/or mild soap, but honestly the tingling sensation disappears after a short time and it's not overly sticky so post-coital washing isn't necessary.

There's not much bad I can say about Tickle Her Pink. It performs exceptionally well when used as directed (rub on clitoris and directly under). It wouldn't hurt for the gel to be a little thicker/more viscous so it would stay put, but that would sacrifice the slickness of the product.

Packaging

Tickle Her Pink comes in a one-ounce white squeezable tube with a black screw-off cap. I'd prefer the lid shown in the photo on the product page so I could more easily use it one handed. The tube is in a bright pink box and both bear a tacky pseudo-retro cartoon of a pin-up girl holding her dress down from a sneaky gust of wind, ala Marilyn Monroe. It looks very cheesy to me and rather like something from a porn-shop.

The packaging isn't discreet at all and it's very obvious what the product's intended to be used for. It does close very tightly and has survived a on a plane trip in the checked luggage without leakage.

The tube mentions it is not to be used by those with STIs or who may be pregnant. There are supposedly 40 uses per tube, but I imagine that varies greatly. I know I have reapplied a few times when the product dripped, and also squeezed too much gel out of the tube.

Special Features

Ingredients:
Water, Hamamelisdacea hamamelis virginiana L, Propylene Glycol, Arginine, Ornithine, Turnera Diffusa Leaf Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange Fruit Extract), Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice

Hamamelisdacea virginiana is witch hazel...yep, the stuff you can use as an astringent toner for your face. In the context of this product, it is supposed to boost sensitivity. I have seen it used in other arousal gels intended for internal use that promoted a vaginal tightening effect.

Arginine is an amino acid that has many applications for various health issues, from lowering blood pressure in pre-eclampsia to stimulating growth hormone. In Tickle Her Pink, it is used to increase circulation.

Orinthine acts similarly to arginine; it also may help with circulation and aid blood flow to the genitals.

Turnera Diffusa is also known as damiana, often found in herbal libido boosters for women. It has a long history as an aphrodisiac. Some studies show it increases libido in rats.
