Zizo - flexible g-spot vibrator discontinued by PicoBong - review by The Vixen

The Zizo is the traditional style vibrator in the Picobong line, which is made by Lelo. The Zizo comes loaded with 12 functions of vibration, pulsation and escalation and a range of 6 intensities.
The Zizo is also great for teasing eternal erogenous zones and the smooth silicone will glide across the skin with ease.

Zizo is very sleek, and the shape and vibration level would be well suited for a beginners. More advanced users who like strong vibration levels or texture will probably find that this toy won’t suit their needs.
If you feel that the Zizo wouldn’t be adventurous enough for you, or you are looking for a G-spot vibe, I would highly recommend checking out the Moka, which is also from the same Picobong line.

I wouldn't recommend Zizo for anal use. Though the handle portion of this toy does flare out a tiny bit, I don’t feel it is enough for me to claim that this toy would be 100% safe.

The Zizo is also waterproof and can be submerged up to a meter, so it’s fine to take Zizo with you into the shower or tub.

The shaft of the Zizo is made from a very smooth silicone, and the battery cap is made out of ABS plastic. The silicone feels like it’s just a thin layer cover a plastic form, so this toy is totally rigid.

The silicone feel very smooth and doesn’t have a lot of drag when it’s dry, it actually feels very similar to velvet cote plastic. You won’t have an issue with this toy picking up lint or hair, which is nice, but when the toy gets wet I find there's more drag and resistance. I almost always have to use a lubricant with this toy, and most of the times I will have to reapply at least once during a session. This particular silicone seems to repel lubricants and dry very quickly.

When using a lubricant with this toy, make sure to use a water-based lube and not one that’s silicone-based. Silicone lubes can potentially have a chemical reaction with silicone toys, and it can cause the material of the toy to be ruined.

The Zizo has a total length of 7.75” with 4.5” of it being insertable. The head of the toy has a circumference of 4” and then tapers down slightly to 3.5” before it swells back out to 3.75” at the base of the insertable position of the shaft.

There is a little cutout on the bottom of the battery cap is where you can attach the little Picobong logo charm that comes with these toys. I don’t care much for the little charm and don’t feel that its adds much to the toy and just gets in the way.




The Zizo is powered by 2 AAA batteries which are housed in the handle to the toy. This toy is waterproof and can be submerged up to 1 meter according to the packaging. The toy doesn’t have your typical separate O-ring to keep water out, but this design is still very effective at keeping water out.




The buttons that control this toy are located on the side of the shaft, so they do take away from the overall insertable length of the toy.

The Zizo is controlled by 3 buttons along the side of the shaft. There is a + button, a - button, and a button that has an “M” on it that I assume stands for mode.

The buttons are molded into the silicone and raised so they can be felt. The buttons make a very distinct click when you press them, but something that a lot of users are running into with this toy is that even though you hear the click, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the button was pressed hard or long enough to register with the motor. It happens quite often to me where I’ll press the button, but nothing happens and I’ll have to press again. Having a difficult time with the controls can be distracting and a bit of a mood killer.

To turn the toy on, hold the + button for a second and it will start out at a very low setting, you can barely tell the toy is on. Pressing the + button will increase the intensity, and you can use the – button to turn it back down. There are 6 different intensities, ranging from very weak to a moderate level.

You can press the mode button to start cycling through the patterns of pulsation and escalation. Picobong made this visual guide to the patterns. I wish more companies did this because I find it so much easier to understand the patterns this way.




And keep in mind, you can change intensities while you are in the patterns as well as in steady vibration mode. You can experience the first 11 settings in each of the 6 vibration intensities, the only one that you cannot change is the 12th setting, which is the Random mode.
If you keep pressing the “M” button after you reach the last setting, you will be taken back to the beginning and you can cycle through the patterns again.

To turn the toy off, press and hold the – button and the power will turn all the way down, and then off.

The Zizo, like the other vibes in the Picobong line, don’t have as much power as the rechargeable toys by Lelo. I’d give the Zizo about 3 vrooms.

It’s also pretty quiet, it only gets up to 2 bees on the higher settings.

The Zizo is waterproof, which makes it easier to clean. I like to spray my toy with toy cleaner and then rinse it off in the sink. I’ve noticed that the silicone the Zizo is made from likes to hold onto any fluids that dried on the surface more than most other toys, even if I rinse it immediately after use. So with this toy I either have to let the toy cleaner sit on the toy a little longer, or take more time rinsing it.
You can also use soap and water or toy wipes if you prefer, and you can use a 10% bleach solution to sanitize this toy because it’s silicone.

I recommend taking the battery out of the toy while it’s not in use to prevent the batteries from draining, and to minimize the risk of the battery leaking and corroding inside the toy while it’s being stored.
Picobong claims that you can get about 2 hours of play on 2 AAA batteries, and so far this seems to be pretty accurate.

The packaging for the Zizo is very basic. Like the other toys in the Picobong line, this toy’s packaging will match whichever color toy you chose, so the packaging for my toy was the same turquoise color. The front of the box has a window that clearly shows the toy on the inside, and there is a little cardboard tray that holds the Zizo in place.
The back of the box has some basic info about the toy in multiple languages. There are also instructions that are included inside the box.

When I first saw the Picobong line, I was very excited to try some of the toys out. I love the bright colors and the fact that they’re silicone and made by such a trusted company like Lelo.
I love G-spot vibes and I was the most excited about the Moka, which I ended up getting and falling in love with. I also was eyeing the Zizo, which has a very similar shape to the rechargeable Liv and Elise 2 by Lelo. Its shaft has a nice looking curve and slight swell near the tip that looked like it would feel delightful.

Both of these vibes function the exact same way and are the same strength, the only real difference lies in the shape.



The Zizo feels surprisingly filling, the slight bulge at the head of the toy is really what makes Zizo feel so nice. It does provide a little bit of G-spot stimulation, but doesn’t feel as intense as the Moka does.

Because the Zizo lacks an extreme shape or texture, I feel like I need more vibration strength to compensate for the lack of stimulation from the shape. Unlike the Moka, I find that Zizo is more of a thrusting toy. As I mentioned earlier, lube doesn’t seem to stay on the toy very long in general, so the thrusting can cause me to have to reapply lube quite often to avoid discomfort.

I find that Zizo doesn’t offer quite as much power as I’d like, but I still appreciate it as a warm-up toy.
I would recommend Zizo if you're newer to internal vibes, or you're more sensitive and don't require intense vibrations.
Zizo is a nice toy, but in the end it's pretty average.
