K from MnK here!

The PicoBong collection is an extension of LELO, the Zizo is the more traditional vibe made by this company. Although it's possible to get g-spot stimulation from this, it is not meant to be a g-spot vibrator, if you're looking for a g-spot vibe check out the Moka by PicoBong.

The Zizo's main purpose is insertion, but the slight curve also makes it "hug" your vagina if used externally. The smaller tip is also nice to direct stimulation to the clitoris. Its fun colors and simple design makes it not intimidating and great for beginners, but the strong vibrations also make it wonderful for advanced users as well. This is a great toy to use either alone or with a partner!

Material / Texture

The Zizo is made of plastic wrapped in body-safe silicone which is non-porous. The plastic makes the toy firm and non-flexible, I feel like the toy would have been better if it were more squishy and soft. The silicone gives the Zizo an amazing silky smooth feel. When we first took it out of the package we couldn't believe how incredibly smooth it was! This texture makes it glide over the body with ease which can be fun for teasing your partner. There is a small seam running down the length of the vibrator, but it's virtually unnoticeable.

The battery cap on the bottom is made from plastic and has ridges which make the toy a little easier to grip when using.

There is virtually no smell to this product whatsoever which is really nice. There's nothing worse than a toy that smells so bad that it turns you off!
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The Zizo is 7 3/4" long and the thickness varies throughout the length. The tip is smaller for easier insertion and then expands, it then slowly gets smaller through the middle and expands once again towards the base. Below is a photo that shows some of the different circumferences along the toy. The toy has an insertable length of about 6". For access to the vibration controls while in use the insertable length shrinks only about 4 1/2" since the buttons run up and down towards the base of the Zizo.

The slight curve of the toy (which reminds me of a banana and makes me wish it came in yellow) makes it possible to reach the g-spot for some women, but it did not for me. This same curve also caresses the vagina if used externally, this was what I found to be the most pleasurable use. In addition to sexual uses the ergonomic design works great on any other curved part of the body, hello neck massage!!

Being decently lon, but not too thick makes it great for beginners and advanced users alike! I wouldn't say that this toy is discreet, if you left it out anyone would know what it is! The simplicity of the Zizo would makes it good for travel, there are no small parts that might break off if thrown in a suitcase. It is also extremely light so you can keep your baggage under a plane's weight limit!

Functions / Performance / Controls

Zizo is operated by 3 buttons: +, M, and -. The plus and minus buttons are used to control the power of the vibrations, while the M changes the mode (vibration pattern).

To turn the toy on hold down the + button, you can then cycle through the 12 different vibration settings. In each setting you have the ability to adjust the power of the vibrations by simply pressing the + or -. This feature makes the toy fantastic for those who enjoy either higher or lower vibrations. On the lowest setting, even when holding the toy, the vibrations can just barley be felt. On the highest setting the toy is extremely powerful, it almost makes my hand hurt if I hold it for too long.

The 12 vibration are all fantastic, except for the last one which is a jumbled up mess of spontaneous vibrations. I would describe the vibrations as being more on the rumbly side rather than buzzy. Here is a link to a diagram on the PicoBong website that describes the 12 settings: CLICK ME!

And now I shall attempt to describe the vibrations...
1) Constant vibration
2) Pulse - slow
3) Pulse - medium
4) Pulse - fast
5) Pulse - fastest
6) Escalating
7) Escalating - quicker
8) Wave (high to low, low to high)
9) Wave- quicker
10) Escalating followed by 3 pulses
11) Escalating followed by 5 pulses
12) Random spontaneous vibrations, mix between both escalating and pulsing

All of the patterns, except for the constant vibration, do have a slight pulsing to them. The escalating is not smooth, it seems like it pluses a bit each time the power increases.

The motor seems to be located more toward the tip making the vibrations much stronger there than at the base. I liked this because when using it my hand didn't start to hurt while I was holding it.

I would say the Zizo is really quiet, on the lowest vibrations you can barley hear it at all, as the power increases so does the noise. Even at the highest vibration level it is still relativity quiet compared to other toys I've used. I definitely wouldn't worry about anyone being able to hear it if outside of the room.

Zizo is also waterproof up to 1 meter, although I haven't tried it out in the water yet so I can't comment on how well it works.

The Zizo runs on two AAA batteries, to insert them simply remove the plastic cover at the end; I have a hard time getting the cap back on after putting the batteries in. There is a small diagram on the outer part of the white plastic showing which way to put the batteries in.

On the instructions it stated that rechargeable batteries will result in a loss of vibration power. We thought we would test this out! I put in a set of fully charged rechargeable batteries and it felt pretty strong, it felt like about 3 to 3 1/2 vrooms. I then put in a set of regular batteries and the power actually did increase, and I'd now rate it about 4 vrooms. So, if you have only rechargeable batteries, you can still use them and have fun with this toy, but if you want that extra power you should use regular batteries.
    • Discreet sound
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Powerful

Care and Maintenance

When using this toy PicoBong recommends only using water-based lubes; silicone lube can be damaging to the toy.

After use you can clean the Zizo with anti-bacterial soap and warm water, or with toy cleaner. This toy cannot be sterilized by boiling it in water like other silicone toys can.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Personal comments

This was our first more expensive vibrator and we discovered that you really get what you pay for. The Zizo is amazing, it definitely doesn't disappoint!

From M's point of view: This toy is surprising light!! While using it on K, although the vibrations were strong for her, I could barley feel it vibrating in my hand. The way that it is shaped made it easy to hold even when it got a bit slippery. The vibrations are just like the look: fun!
Follow-up commentary
I still like it but... a little while after getting the Zizo my boyfriend and I went on vacation for a couple of weeks, and we came home the toy was deformed! The layer of silicone had separated from the plastic near the end with the buttons. When the battery cover is on it creates bubbles between the silicone and plastic making it difficult to press the buttons. It was sitting in our closet and we have no idea why this happened.

We did try to get in contact with PicoBong because the Zizo comes with a warranty, but we never heard back from them.
