The Vagina Amiga Palm Pal by Doc Johnson arrived in a cardboard box package. The front of the packaging has the product name, a photo of the product, and states a few of the product features. The back of the box has a brief description of the product in both English and Spanish, and company contact information. Though the packaging is not discreet, I find it quite tasteful compared to some of the other male products my partner owns.



When I opened the box, there was an extremely strong scent that came from the product. My partner has many sleeves, and quite a few of them are made from the same material, which is UR3… and they all have the same smell. The UR3 has a very sweet smell; I personally am not a fan, but my partner doesn’t seem to mind it. This smell does fade over time with cleaning.

The vagina palm pal is wrapped in a clear, plastic bag inside of the box. The bag looks dirty when you take it out of the box, but I believe this is the cornstarch that was dusted on the material and had rubbed onto the baggy. There is also a guide inside of the box that explains how to clean and care for the UR3 material.

The product measurements are as follows:

Length: 5 ¼ inches
Circumference of top of sleeve-thickest part: 6 ½ inches
Circumference of bottom of sleeve- thinnest part: 4 ½ inches

While the circumference measurements seem small, the material is extremely stretchy and can be used by any one, regardless of the length/girth of their penis. I was able to stretch the sleeve over my fist. Of course, the more girth to the penis, the tighter the sleeve will feel. The sleeve is open-ended (there is a hole on the opposite end of the entrance), it is a light-brown colour, and the entrance to the sleeve is realistic-looking. The outside of the sleeve has smooth lined areas, which is supposed to create an “easy-grip” for the user.





The inside of the sleeve has a slightly bumpy texture. I turned the sleeve inside out and took a photo of the texture, as it would be much easier for you to see the texture, rather than me attempt to explain it.



When my partner and I used the sleeve on him, we had to use a lot of lubricant so that the sleeve would glide over his penis rather than drag. Only water-based lubricants can be used with the UR3 material.

When we used the sleeve, he took control of it first. He found that it was easy to grip (he did not have lubricant on his hands) and he liked the texture. I took over the sleeve control slightly after he gave it a try, and of course, he preferred when I used it on him. He said that because the sleeve is not bulky, he could feel the pressure I was applying with my hands (which he enjoyed). I had lubricant on my hands, and was still able to keep a handle on the sleeve. His penis did poke out the end of the sleeve when we used it on him, but he never mentioned this being a problem. He said that for partner play, this sleeve is one of the better ones because it is less bulky, and he liked that he could feel the pressure I was able to apply through the sleeve. When I had asked him if he would use this solo, he said he would, but he does have a few favourites that he would chose over this particular sleeve.

My partner liked the realistic look of the entrance, and said that when we had used it, it was snug, but not uncomfortable. His penis has quite a bit of girth and there have been a few sleeves that he has tried that have been too tight on him to be pleasurable. He did not finish while using the sleeve, but that is because we chose to do another activity to finish. My partner said that he would be able to finish using this sleeve (we just chose not to).

The sleeve is very porous and high-maintenance. The Vagina Palm Pal should be cleaned before and after each use with soap and water. The sleeve is quite easy to wash because it can be turned inside out to clean the inside of the sleeve. It’s suggested to dust the product with cornstarch after you’ve cleaned and dried the product after each time you use it. Dusting the product with cornstarch will keep the material from becoming sticky. If you decide to share this product, be sure to always use condoms with the sleeve.

The product should be stored in a dark, cool place and should not come directly in contact with other products (so store it in it’s box, or in a zip-lock style bag).

My partner gives this product a 4 out of 5 rating, and if it were possible, I would give the product a 3.5 out of 5. We’ve decided to settle with a 4 out of 5 rating because he did enjoy the sleeve, but the product loses a star for its length (should be a bit longer), and the fact that the material is porous and high-maintenance.

I think my partner has used this once since we did the review. He said he still likes it, though he has other sleeves that he prefers over this one. The material has held up well and still looks as good as new. I think that if my partner didn't have so many sleeves, he'd use this more often.
