The Iconic Ring is a vibrating cock ring meant to be worn on the penis during penetration. It has two settings and is made to vibrate on the clitoris. The settings are: vibrating when pressure is applied, and constant vibrations. The vibrations are nice and strong, and the ring comes with an extra set of batteries, but there is only one vibration speed, and it may not be right for everyone. I feel that this is a good ring for users of many levels, and it's a quality piece, but be aware that the vibrations may not be perfect and you can't adjust them. Also, that elastomer cannot be shared, so if you may end up using this with multiple partners, you should consider a disposable one, or something that can be disinfected.

The ring and the covering of the vibrator are made of clear elastomer. Elastomer is stretchy, bouncy, and comfortable, but it is a porous material that cannot be disinfected, so this is not a toy that should be shared. I love that the batteries can be replaced in this ring, but at thirty five bucks a pop, you might want to wait until you're in a committed relationship. This is not a toy you want to throw out just because you can't use it with more than one partner. Elastomer is also slightly sticky, so it tends to collect dust and lint and other particles of the like. I expected it to pull on my boyfriend’s body hair, but it didn't seem to do that, which is a plus. Elastomer is, however, compatible with water-based and silicone lubes.

I really like the design of the Iconic Ring; it's straightforward and classy. It's plain and utilitarian, which is perfect, especially for a cock ring. The elastomer is clear, and the vibrator inside is white, with "ICONIC RING" written on the top in gray. It has a single button that keeps the vibrations constant when depressed. When the button is not depressed, or pressed a second time so that it pops out, it vibrates only when slight pressure is applied to the front. The part of the vibrator that faces the female partner has a number of short nubby bristles that feel fine. They are not spectacular, but I think they were a good option. The inside of the ring has six nubs going around. Other than that, there are no real discerning features. I like the width of the ring, but it could probably stand to be a little tighter; with a little lubrication, it slipped right off. My boyfriend found the ring comfortable to wear, but during actual sex the vibrator dug into him; he's rather slim and doesn't have much natural cushioning around his pubic bone. He said that if there were a thick layer of cushioning on the back of it that would be better. That was our main problem with the Iconic Ring; for me to make contact with it, it had to dig into his pelvic bone…ouch!

I'm not entirely thrilled that this toy doesn't have an "off" switch, which makes it far less travel friendly. Though you could just take out the batteries, or place it back in its original box. You can't boil the Iconic Ring, but you can wash it in warm water with mild soap after you take out the vibrator, making sure to let it fully air dry before replacing it. Keep it in a clean, dry place, free of dust and lint, as it will attract those.

The Iconic Ring comes in a fantastic little box. It's compact, discreet, and classy, just like the ring. It comes with extra batteries, and the instructions right on the box. Though it doesn't tell you how to get the vibrator out of the ring, that takes some exploration. On the box it states, "the Iconic Ring has already been cleaned and is ready to go upon opening," which is very cool.

We both managed to finish this way, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a vibrating cock ring. It didn't seem to enhance his erection either, but that's not why we got it.
