Jimmyjane iconic ring does what it says its gonna do. That doesn't mean it doesn't do it well. It gives my boyfriend a a more sensitive erection. It has a little buzzy action for me. Its a win win for everybody!
I'm not sure that you cant find this in any other cock ring, but I do like the clean look of this one.
I don't think my boyfriend would be such a fan if it was very cumbersome or flamboyantly colored.

This ring is made from elastomer. So that means its body safe as far as it's chemical composition, but since its on the more porous side it should not be shared (outside from the two people who initially used it together) because it can not be disinfected. It is compatible however with both water and silicone lubricants.
However because its so soft and squishy it is one of the toys that collects hair and lint.

It comes in a small little box with nothing really outwardly sexual on it, there is a picture of the ring itself but nothing to graphic or lude. It takes two watch batteries are included as well as an additional set (though when i got mine it didn't have the additional batteries but Jimmyjane gladly sent me a new set at no expense to me)

It is water resistant but not water proof. When i first got this I was kind of surprised to see the back of the toy has a little under-lapping circle of elastomer to envelope the vibrator... I've already lost mine and its near impossible to find. It's easy to change the batteries, you don't need a key coin or screw you can just twist it off. Even though its easy to get the door off I've never had it come off by itself.

The switch on the side of this toy is also different than I expected. I guess I was expecting kinda of like a light switch where I could move it back and forth, instead you press it in to turn it on and press it again to turn it "off". When its on its consistently vibrating until you turn it "off". When you turn it off it will still vibrate on impact. If you really want to turn this toy off you have to take out the batteries.

This toy will not bring you to orgasm by itself unless you are VERY sensitive to vibration, but it is a good contributor in the bedroom.

I wouldn't say that I "hate" this toy now, I'm more just... "meh" about it. I didn't use it very much after I wrote the original review. I'm no longer with the person I used it with, and therefore won't be using it anymore because it's not safe. Also, I feel like that's weird. So, I have no testimony of how long this toys life might have been, but it was okay. I'm sure there are some rings that are better, and I'm sure that there are many that are worse. I do, however, know that there are many that are just like this one with a smaller price tag.
